Last night, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" premiered in New York City, and while the critics are embargoed until later this week, some lucky fans who saw the flick early have taken to social media to voice their opinions of the movie.
And guess what, they liked it!

If Batman had armor laced with kryptonite he'd beat Superman like a redheaded stepchild. Assertion of stupid premise debunked.
It's Hulk vs Superman that I want to see. That and a catfight between Catwoman and Emma Peel where their leather suits get frayed and start to peel off. " I'd buy that for a dollar!"
Superman could just drop a mountain on batmans ass.
Or pick up batman while he’s inside his lair and launch it into space.

Like I said, with a little common sense, the batman vs superman premise is stupid. Batman is a chump. I don’t care how intelligent he is.
Sheesh. Give it a frickin rest.
The premise has been kicking around the comics world for over 60 years. They’ve fought many times. And usually Batman wins, that Kryptonite weakness is a big deal, and Superman just isn’t that smart. There’s a reason his arch nemesis is a normal human with a lot of money, not unlike Batman.

I got the impression from the trailer that Superman somehow lets his fan base go to his head, prompting an attitude adjustment from Batman.

There have been numerous instances of really stupid crooks being smart enough to trick Superman into being exposed to near-fatal doses of kryptonite. If Superman is capable for falling for these deceptions, he wouldn’t stand a chance against someone with the superior intelligence of Batman. The critical thing is to expose Superman in a place where he couldn’t receive aid from a third party.
Jim, I agree, Batman and Superman are the GOOD guys. No need for them to fight. I won’t be watching this movie, I don’t agree with the premise.
I found “Man of Steel” to be very depressing. Pretty much the exact opposite of how I think one should feel while watching a Superman flick. Still better than “Superman Returns” though.
The advantage Bats would have is that Superman would be holding back. SM doesn’t want to kill Bats, I don’t think Bats has that problem.
He has to get close. And the moment he does, he's reduced by kryptonite to some fag in a leotard with human strength. Batman knows Krav Maga. He was in the same martial arts class as Sterling Archer. Without super strength, Superman fights like some slappy fanboy nerd at a Comic Con.
This one will be available at Redbox quicker than you can say “That’s a wrap!”.
I do the same thing. It’s just nice to have some places on FR where we don’t have to bash each other’s brains in.
