I found “Man of Steel” to be very depressing. Pretty much the exact opposite of how I think one should feel while watching a Superman flick. Still better than “Superman Returns” though.

We differ on Superman Returns. I liked it and looked forward to moving ahead from that point, but that was scuttled partly because of talk back then of a Justice League movie.
