Ive reached a breaking point with those who continue to defend Donald Trumps endless brutishness.
If you went back in time a year, and asked Trump supporters if they would ever vote for a man who made fun of POWs, mocked the physically handicapped, compared another candidate to a child molester, and shifted positions as frequently as a fat guy in a church pew, they would have likely said No.
How did we get here? How did we get to a place where Trumps rhetoric and behavior is not only accepted, but emulated?
Donald Trump is a master manipulator. He came on the scene as a single issue candidate, with no other discernible positions. This was a necessity, because it allowed voters to fill in the rest with their own magic markers; the needs and ideas of millions of voters built Donald Trump from scratch. Thats why attributing any coherent policy position to the man is like trying to nail jello to a wall. His deliberately ambiguous and transitory rhetoric acts as a sort of scaffolding upon which anything can be built. This is a dangerous thing when you have an incredibly angry electorate.
When you pour yourself into an empty vessel, that vessel becomes personally linked to you. It harbors your needs, wants, and ideals in a way that nothing else can. Ultimately, what people see in Trump is their own reflection. When you see yourself in such a candidate, youre much more likely to justify, defend, and even emulate their behaviorno matter how deplorable.
Given this, it comes as no surprise that were beginning to see violence at Trump rallies. Donald himself has made numerous comments passively or directly condoning violence against those who defy him.

First, you would not get within a block of the meeting.
The narrative is that Trump supporters (and the man himself) are all white racists. All the media pushes it. People bought that Palin was an absolute idiot, so they must be buying that to like Trump you have to be a racist.
But what is racist about having borders? Is Mexico racist? Switzerland? Any country with strict border control? Are we all racist for not letting people come into our house and take our stuff?
And what is racist about not wanting to let in all these fake Muslim refugees who are terrorists at worst and rapists and molesters at best? If refugees insist on living under Sharia law and don’t want any part of our culture, we need to find a way to help them stay in their part of the world.
There is NOTHING racist about Trump.
But the lefties who are shoving the racist meme down American throats are PRO SLAVERY. Illegals are worked to the bone and have no legal protection. They work for peanuts and take a lot of abuse. Many of them are outright slaves (the prostitutes, some of the farm workers, some live in help who work for room and board with no set hours).
Our jobs that go overseas are sometimes done by near slavery as well. Workers for Apple who die early dealing with the heavy metals without proper protection. Prisoners, children, all kinds of people taken advantage of, working for very small wages.
The real racists are the globalists who trick Americans into believing the only candidate who wants to stop the slavery gravy train is a racist.
You are again like your master. Anyone who disagrees with you is just a little faggot and you want to get rid of us.

I doubt you could incite him to do anything, Cruz supporters are GOPe.
Wednesday, do you here the distant drums of defeat.
Im neither, but I dont support Trump. You say you dont need me; you will in the general election. Just like Cruz and I will need you if hes lucky enough to win the nomination. If I thought for a second that Trump was going to do anything about illegal immigration and the size of government, I might support him over Cruz. I dont believe Trump, though. Not for a second. Just my opinion. You do believe Trump, and youre entitled to your opinion. Our difference in opinion doesnt make you or me a coward or a fool.
I think if you took the time to truly “get to know” Trump, not from his detractors and certainly not from Cruz you would find he is truly an honorable, extremely smart man. Consider all who are fighting against him...and who is not...it is easier to say who is not cause both parties, the other candidates, the media, PAC’s, Lobbyists, etc. are all against him...it is the people who are for him and that is all he wants. He takes no money from PAC’s or Lobbyists, he can...but he refuses...he wants to make it a symbol of his willingness to fully represent the people. No other candidate has that integrity Big E. His opponents are not only focusing on the issues Trump brought to the forefront but they are moving theirs over to match more closely with Trump’s.
I was a Cruz supporter early on, not cause I did not like Trump but he was a very close second. But, as I saw the phony façade of Cruz’s character peel away I saw a vile person who has no honor or integrity. That doesn’t sit well with me. I will never vote for Cruz. Honestly, with what is coming down the pike no matter who gets elected, indeed good chance before the election a Cruz presidency will not have any real differences in outcome to a Clinton presidency. And, were Cruz somehow able to steal the nomination from Trump the democrats would be merciless in attacking his weird cultish religious beliefs and his father’s who campaigns for his son. Remember when Beck said that God killed Scalia (or let die) so that Cruz could get elected? That is nothing compared to what the father and son believe...
I appreciate your tone and sincerity Big E...you are apparently a good man...I would say you are an “exception” to my little rule... :) Hope you see what so many are seeing about Cruz and join us in truly changing the nation with Trump!
TTTT !
If your looking for a Faux conservative find a mirror.
Who's "us"?
Paranoid much?
when you need a thug, who you gonna call, a pansy?
No, you didn't, that's right. You suggested violence.
See? You can't even recognize the difference now.
“Is Donald Trump Creating a Mafia-Like Culture of Thug Followers?”
I think you’ve got the answer to the article’s question in the posts of the vast majority of those responding to your post. The exception would be that I would not accuse them of Mafia-like behavior. They are like the followers of any number of populist leaders from Huey Long to Benito Mussolini. Nothing like Hitler but more like Juan Peron.
Sorry you’re on the hot seat. Should, by some small miracle, Cruz win, these folks won’t support him, they will continue to attack.
How Hillary treats the PRESS
How the DNC treated Protesters at the Convention?
How Obama treated Protesters during his campaign ?
I would gladly support Cruz if he were the nominee, but he’s got an uphill mountain to climb. In fact, I voted for Cruz in the Texas Primary.
I’d like to debate the merits of Cruz and Trump, but I have an early morning. I’ll leave you with this. If Trump wins the election, I sincerely hope you are right about him, and I am wrong. Good night.

Good night Big E! Sleep well!
Have you noticed who's doing the punching? I have seen many instances where the police or even Secret Service agents are fighting with disruptive protesters. Why some of the police even got injured in Chicago by the MoveOn.org types. And it seems that you agree with all of those leftists, rioters and protesters that the police and federal law enforcement agents are somehow doing something wrong.
I don't consider police and federal law enforcement officers trying to prevent disruption of a political rally to be "a mafia-like culture of thug-followers."
Sorry, but I don't see it that way, and I am kind of surprised that you apparently do.
Huh??? You mean like the members of our armed forces, police officers, and elected officials who have taken oaths to uphold and defend our constitution? Do you consider them a cult?
