Congrats on getting better. You’ve had to deal with a lot.

I had a childhood friend pass away at 53. He wrote a book called “The Pain Chronicles” He had a congenital defect in his neck vertebrae that caused them to splinter when he was in his 40s. He lived with pain 24/7 and also had to rehab his way back from almost fatal doses of various pain meds.

I am sorry. I may read that.

If I sit for more than a few hours without a pillow, it will feel like every bone in my body is broken and every ligament torn.

Fighting to keep roxys and Xanax at bay for as needed only isn’t a piece of cake either.

I empathize with your friend and I pray God finally gave him some peace.

Splintered vertebrae sounds like a sick nightmare from a horror movie :(

The pain causes several thousand palpitations a day sometime and there was damage to the sinus nodes too.

I gave up wondering if today’s the day.

Only God knows and he’s keeping it a secret :)

In the meantime, he’s kept my belly full and a roof over my head and FR and the ability to work overnight on Staten Island and Amazon Prime :)

This post meant a lot. Thanks for sharing.
