Nailed it. Nailed me. Nailed others.
Hmmm. Swanky private schools. Bad behavior put him in NYMA. Then he went to Wharton, which is one of the top three business schools in the country. It is every bit the insider degree as Harvard.
You clearly don't do your homework on your own candidate.
it was a desultory effort, since I don't care passionately about this issue.
Regulations, and especially environmental regulations have more to do with why manufacturing is leaving the United States than does the differential cost of labor. But don't let that fact worry you. Trump has the union guys and you bamboozled with promises he cannot and will not keep.
If the government is being unreasonable, and the courts are backing them up, what is the best approach for an aggrieved rancher / water user to do?
Well my "strategy of the commoners" involves using environmental laws against the agencies, as if the rancher was an NGO. The problem has historically been standing. My patent gives me that. So if I set up a business to do that work, I could go after the agency on the ranchers' behalf. Sadly, they wanted a guy on a white horse to do it all for them, so I've set about building the case myself. I'm ten years into that project. The first step was to establish myself as an expert in restoration ecology. I've done that.
Trump might not cavil over ownership of the land...and I agree his broad brush big mouth simplistic take on it doesn't look encouraging: but what I've seen of him is that he often walks back his initial remarks, after he's taken the time to read up on the issues. As a New York City Developer, I bet he hasn't thought about rural land issues much.
Agency behavior is now almost independent of the administration because it derives its mandates and its budget from court cases rigged in collusion with green groups. Environmental law derives its authrority to violate the Constitution by treaties, lots of them, held at the UN. Maybe you would benefit from a little reading on the topic here and here. Obviously, this is an abridged picture, but it will definitely bring you up to speed as to why limited government and privatization are the context for the correct fix to which Trump has shown himself ill disposed. If I told you the fix for both healthcare costs and the environment were the same, I'd bet you would think I was crazy: insurance deregulation and tort reform.
But I bet he'd side with citizens over the bureaucracy, when it is clear the bureaucracy is just yanking people around for the fun of it.
Market manipulation with environmental regulations is not about fun; it is about money, BIG money, money so far beyond even Trump's imaginings as to make him into a nothing. I can name you ONE (1) regulation that cost so much money that every child in America could have gone to college for free and it ended up with a significant negative environmental impact that the same players are lining up to cash in on it.
It's that bad, and Trump is that out of it.
Better yet...Vote Cruz....
He already knows what to do.

It's a tag team between environmental regulations and union labor. I've written about the environmental nightmare in China, here on FR; P.J. O'Rourke had a good chapter on the Eastern bloc in All the Troubles In The World. Part of the issue is labor unions strike in solidarity; the high cost (and fakery) in workman's comp; and US vs. Enmons that allows unions thugs to get away with violence and have immunity for it. That, and unionized government workers ...

Ah, so a counter-Alinksy "live up to their own rules" : similar to the SJWs crybaby snowflakes starting to take out leftist professors for not being pure enough. Have you got to the point that you've been in court yet? I foresee too problems: leftist clients with deep pockets having high-priced lawyers (David Boies-level) on retainer; and activist judges who make up the rulings as they go along (see the recent Supremes decision on gay marriage which read more like a Hallmark Greeting Card than a learned piece of jurisprudence...)

Don't have time to read your links right now -- IRL stuff -- but I'd appreciate it if you remind me in a couple o' weeks. All I know is the catchphrase "Agenda 21" and the thinking that Obama tried to set up the Iran "understanding" so as to not be a treaty, therefore not subject to review: and also that somewhere I read a panic-stricken piece that Treaties become, like the Constitution, "The Supreme Law of the Land" and some panic over Law of The Sea Treaty (LOST). Also I wrote a piece on FR about how the delegation of regulation by Congress defeated the whole purpose of separation of powers, and how (who was it, now, Burke? or Locke?) inveighed against the legislature allowing the executive to define rules to flesh out vague laws.
But I bet he'd side with citizens over the bureaucracy, when it is clear the bureaucracy is just yanking people around for the fun of it.

The situation which was tantamount to shooting people over a controlled burn, to allow their cattle to graze, or similar, is what I had in mind: you are extending the conversation to much wider issues. I do not disagree, but it does happen to be a change from the original topic or scope.
What I have in mind for what you are talking about is the whole "Greenhouse gases / Global Warming" bullshit. It is manifestly a lie because not too long ago -- but far before the industrial revolution, and while people were very rare -- large parts of North America were covered with glaciers two miles thick.
These melted without human influence. Therefore warming -- and cooling -- of that magnitude, is known to have occurred without human intervention. Therefore even if there is warming -- which is doubtful -- the burden of proof is on the fanatics to show that it is unambiguously and solely due to human causation. Since the disagreement of the computer models with one another is greater than the magnitude of the observed warming, we are not dealing with science: the error bars are larger than the effect observed, and there is no way to distinguish between the several models, let alone put in meaningful controls.

funny how white massacres don’t mean ####.
not saying bikers are angels, but what the #### happened there in WACO.
now this?
what’s next?
this guy’s a sick, communist raised muslim and f....t loving piece of ####. actually, he loves anything deviant.
I can’t picture him giving the keys to the Donald. Good thing is Donald will call for the people to rock N roll.
I might be a Cruz guy, but the Donald has ROCKS.
they should have made a deal dammit. SC, VP for Cruz.
you’re right grey.
I remember thinking “why am I so happy that we have the congress and Bush when the deficit keeps growing and he calls raising the debt ceiling an act of courage.
these Bushes love that phrase act of lol.
act of love.
act of courage.
they just never use them in the right circumstance
and you know what, there’s a DemWit (TM) :), somewhere who is complaining that OUR SIDE WON on the military budget because it’s Hugh and Series, and it is still huge.
They’re mad that the battle to get priests’ comments during mass subpoenaed was shot down.
That straight marriage (can’t BELIEVE I have to say that) is still the majority by far.
That God is still in the Pledge (said Anthem first, you guys would have killed me if I didn’t fix it :).
That those horrific dead white men are still on our money.
And a lot more.
So I guess it’s a cup half full night if just for a little while :)
Exactly. If one of these "supermen" had this on his radar why aren't they talking about the execution of The Cowboy at one of the umpteen Reality TV debates they are having or on the campaign trail? Make it one of their platform or stump speeches. Why? Because they could give a shiite less that one cowboy laid dead in the snow.
They just want to make sure they do not alienate the "crossover"voters and lose that "power". So what one white cowboy was executed, shot 3 times in the back. Their internal polls show that majority of Americans do not care so they do not care.
These elections will not fix this power hungry FERAL Government and I agree with DP, it is time to change it like our Founding Fathers did.
I personally am tired of these free Wacos and Ruby Ridges. I will not be loaded into a cattle car and prefer to go the way of La Voy.
FIRST, I have to look up La Voy.
Second, YOU ARE RIGHT.
WACO was a massacre. yeah, bikers can be bad guys.
so can the mafia, bloods, crips, latin kings, drug cartels...when was the last time they were massacred like this?
how about NEVER
and maybe it’s not mentioned because they all agree uppity whites be a dangerous thang
What do you do when protesting is breaking the law?
Save
GREAT POINT and I was thinking, can’t Trump AND Cruz people inundate both THEM and the debate holders before tomorrow night’s debate to make this a question?
isn’t thee a debate tomorrow night.
I listed exit and helicon because you seem to be some of the Trump ringleaders and can each the most people here :)
would love to hear Trump say something about WACO AND this.
I THINK they both said something in passing about WACO, but that’ wasn’t NEARLY enough.
several hundred whites in prison at ONE time ALL charged with the same thing!!!
that never happened to any other REALLY ORGANIZED GANG here.
First Waco and save your time looking up La Voy (LaVoy Finicum)
So do the Bush family. So do the Clintons and Obama.
What is your point?
Are you nuts? He is a Globalist, and part of the NWO. He advised the ranchers to “stand down”, and do nothing to defend their rights!
He can't take over as SecGen of the UN if he doesn't leave office....think he's had Kerry and Clinton signing all those treaties for nothing?
please don’t make fun of me. that’s the beginning to the declaration of Independence, right?
to be TOO HONEST, the couch is so comfy, i’m 47 and out of shape, I’ve boxed and don’t like pain, especially a bullet, plenty of food in the fridge, there’s Netflix and amazon prime, and unde 35 kids are all liberal so they get what they deserve,
WHAT CAN ONE MAN DO!!!!!!!!!!!
what have I become. what have some of us become?
