You obviously don't follow Trump's remarks. For a while, Trump has said "Where was Romney in the last month of his campaign?" It would be a little late for Trump to run at that point.
Romney ran then went into hiding the last few weeks to ensure an 0bunghole win.
To: Bidimus1
He didn't think he had to. Your boys so f-ed things up for the past 30 years (with no end in sight), he felt obliged.
I for one, appreciate his sacrifice in deciding to run. He sure as hell didn't need to. He and his family would be just fine, even better off if he didn't.

Donald has said that his kids were not ready to take over the business and he had too many deals in the pipeline. He thought that, while Romney appeared to be a really weak candidate, Romney could beat a failed President Obama. Donald Trump was really upset when Mitt tried to coast the last few weeks.

His kids weren’t really old enough, 8 years ago, to take over day to day operations from dad.
They are now.

Money from the Apprentice is chump change for Trump. It was an ego thing and not a money thing.
To: Bidimus1
Well, didn’t most people think anybody with half a brain could have beaten Obama? It should have been a slam dunk. He probably didn’t think he needed to run then.

I think where his grown kids were at figured into it, since they are the ones to take over his business. Ivanka, especially, runs a lot of the new acquisitions business and she was a new mom then. Eric was getting married. Don was the only one really ready to take over; but even he has five kids, so maybe they all needed more prep time. Here are just the buildings; there are also something like 17 golf courses, plus restaurants, merchandise lines, a property management business and television shows:

30,000 employees is a full time job. Wait, he wants over a million employees and a full time job but he couldn't multitask a campaign and 30,000?

I’ll be honest... I really didnt believe that the Dims and R are the same thing... All part of one whole. Now Romney proves they are... Burn it all down...

I still cant believe what that guy did today, after Trump supported him and endorsed him he stabs the guy right in the back. After watching the 2012 video of Romney praising Trump and thanking him for his endorsement, the question I would like to ask Romney is: "Were you lying then, or are you lying now?"

Only Trump supporters could be asked a dumb question like this. Personally, I’m still wondering why Reagan didn’t challenge LBJ, why Lincoln didn’t challenge James Buchanan and why Hillary didn’t challenge McGovern.

Maybe the question should be, ‘Why didn’t Romney run last time?’

Trump didn’t think Romney was a “choke artist” in 2012; he endorsed him. He figured Romney had it covered. Trump expected him to win. The “choke artist” comment is based on Romney losing the 2012 election.
