Donald Trumps distinctive rhetorical style think of a drunk with a bullhorn reading aloud James Joyces Finnegans Wake under water poses an almost insuperable challenge to people whose painful duty is to try to extract clarity from his effusions. For example, last week, during a long stream of semi-consciousness in Fort Worth, this man who as president would nominate members of the federal judiciary vowed to open up libel laws to make it easier to sue to intimidate and punish people who write negative things. Well. Trump, the thin-skinned tough guy, resembles a campus crybaby who has wandered out of his safe space.
Trump is a presidential aspirant who would flunk an eighth-grade civics exam. More than anything Marco Rubio said about Trump in Houston, it was Rubios laughter at Trump that galled the perhaps bogus billionaire. Like all bullies, Trump is a coward, and like all those who feel the need to boast about being strong and tough, he is neither....

“Trump is a buffoon, and his endorsers, like his supporters, will come to regret this epic lapse of judgement.”
Because voting for ‘conservative’ career politicians has worked so well over the past ~30 years.
Trump is Ross Perot with a bullhorn. For better or for worse. Its going to be a long roller coaster ride.
George Will is sooo yesterday. Many people fail to stay up with the times and long for the good old days of a GOP establishment that gets elected and DOES NOTHING.
The death of the Pundit Class cannot come too soon. They area creation of the media who has time and space to fill, but otherwise who needs them?
George Will: I don’t care what you think.
You said..
“Or like the Cruz supoporters who cant accept that it is over.”
Oh I know he’s not going to be the nominee. And I have issues with some of Cruz’s votes. And I believe Trump is the next president
The difference is that I don’t spin for him or mold him what I think he will be. There’s going to be a bit of buyer’s remorse here in the near and distant future in regards to Trump
Really?
We elected so called sound conservatives into office and look what we got. The GOP made the Trump movement. You don't like Trump? Get rid of the GOP establishment that caused him to succeed, otherwise you and others are part of the problem.
>> There are still some 2008 BHO backers <<
That’s nothing. I know a few folks who still carry the torch for Jimmy Earl Carter, thinking he was among our greatest POTI.
Anything posted that comes from George Will deserves an immediate ZOT. He is no conservative, and no friend of Free Republic.
48% of Republicans say they won’t vote for Trump in the general, so his chances of winning are slim.
Why would a politician endorse him, when his only feature is supposed to be “winning”?
I regret voting for the GOP, which controls Congress and fails to stop Obama’s agemda.
Think of a schmuck with a typewriter.

True words
George Will who like Jonah Goldberg and Steven Hayes just cannot move to acceptance. LOL!
Sour grapes. From NRO no less. Laughable
The only ones concerned about how bad Trump is are the same people that have been controlling things for decades
AND THE HEcK WITH ALL OF THEM
Where did you dig this crap up?
Not this time. We have someone who is the spanker, not the spankee. And the squeals from the GOP-e are sweet music.
Donald J. Trump

Precisely
So many wanted to destroy the GOPe. Now that it is done they are whining
National Review - a magazine no one reads. How is this magazine still in business if not for hand outs from the GOPe so it can serve as the PRAVDA of the GOP establishment? It’s a magazine designed to put an intellectual gloss over the scam on the base voters.
