Anybody who thinks N. Korea doesn’t have an illegal immigration problem because they have a wall, should not be allowed to vote. They have a wall to keep people in, nobody from outside of N. Korea wants to get in.
Pretty funny article. The author is reduced to calling Trump supporters mind numbed robots. He’s just like the lefties who refuse to listen to Rush Limbaugh and try to characterize anyone who agrees with conservative ideas as idiots. Just like them the author is so consumed by hatred and vitriol that his favorite candidate isn’t making any progress that he refuses to consider that maybe Trump supporters have actually studied Trump , his ideas and his positions. I agree with half of what you said. I agree that the elite hating him intrigues me, but my issue is that I don't see the foundation on which his beliefs stand.
Now FR is split along political lines, with one side abandoning the previously held "hold the press accountable" position.
It is not the format or the time to dig deeply into policy wonk stuff. I don't need or want details. I want big picture.
As for the Rubio/Cruz tag team, it reminded me of those wildlife documentaries where the grizzly bear is attacked by a couple wolves. The grizzly standing on back legs towers over his attackers.
The wolves hiss and growl and bare teeth as they badger and bite at the great bear. The bear swipes at one while absorbing attack by the other.
Eventually the wolves accept defeat and whimper off. The bear licks his minor wounds and goes back to his business.

The fact that Trump is consulting with Jeff Sessions on his immigration policy speaks volumes. The fact that Trump has Steve Miller, from Sessions office, on his staff now, speaks volumes.
If Sessions were running for president and told me he was going to bring some sanity to our out-of-control immigration, you bet I’d believe him. In a NY minute !

So, by virtue of your reply, you are absolutely fine if Trump ruins everything else in this country as long as we have a wall that stops our illegal immigration problem.

That’s the quote. Everything. So when Trump tears up the Constitution like a liberal would, you’ll be happy because you have a wall. When Trump “makes a deal” with Congress for Single Payer, it will be OK because you have a wall. When Trump infringes on our ability to criticize the emperor by allowing the rich to sue people into silence, it will be OK because you have a wall.
