I have been watching this race very closely, from the sidelines.
The time has come to go ALL IN for Donald Trump. This is a man who could destroy the left in the same way Pinochet did. Ooooh, he has an enemy's list! Well, good. This country has ENEMIES, fifth columnists inside undermining us every day.
The Christie LePage endorsements show that the party is ready to unite around the frontrunner. A word on the other two guys:
Rubio: This guy is a SNAKE. I never liked him from the start, and now I know. He is the shamnesty wonderboy, robotic with no charisma. I'm glad he's out of the senate. Waste of skin. GO TO HELL RUBIO.
Cruz: Burnt down his campaign with underhanded garbage and the presence of nutjob Glenn Beck and his fake antique roadshow. I respect his senate career but this turned into a vanity campaign fast. How could he hang around with someone who compared Breitbart to Joseph Goebbels?!
I won’t be on board.
I will be advocating and supporting a conservative candidate.
I hope you change your mind about supporting the most anti-conservative candidate in the race.
Like Trump, or hate him, I don’t care. But the simple truth is Trump is the only one left who can win the demographics needed to beat the democrats in the general.
And that’s the name of that tune. All the flailing and protest won’t change it.

Add in the bad advice he's gotten from his advisors, the appearance of dirty tricks and joining Glenn Beck at the hip. I know those are the things that have lost him my support. Last night he put the final nail in the coffin for me.
You my friend are going to be very lonely as its my sad duty to inform you that for all intents and purposes Trump wrapped up the nomination today. The weeping will begin Tuesday evening.

We’ve voted for “consistent conservatives” the last several election cycles and have gotten doodley-squat for it.
Those words have little meaning anymore outside of venues such as Free Republic.
IMO, Cruz went a bit overboard trying to woo the Evangelicals while ignoring the bigger picture.

If I was voting Tuesday I’d vote for Cruz but Trump is really running away with it as you say—and I’ll vote for him over Rodham Rodham Rodham or Comrade Sanderovich in Nov. for sure. And I betcha most the people in this threat who say they won’t will.

Well, my first vote in my State’s PRIMARY will be for Cruz. I’ve followed his career for years, and He’s still my pick of the whole group.
However, I agree with you; come the ELECTION IN NOVEMBER, if Trump is our candidate, I will most likely vote for him; primarily because the alternative of Hillary or Bernie is just not even a reasonable choice.
It just seems to me that most of the Trump people on this thread (and all over FR) believe that the primaries are it .. and Trump will be president just as soon as he wins all these elections. I sure hope I’m wrong, and they do realize they have another whole election cycle continuing into November to get through before Trump could be President?
And .. it would be wise not to burn all your bridges.

If Rubio were a real American, with his sob story of the poor boy who "owes a debt of gratitude" for the America, the exceptional, why the hell has he not assimilated ?
Did he come here illegally? Is that why he has such unswerving slavish dedication to illegals with which he has less in common (presumably) than with legal American immigrants and US born (non-illegal alien parent) citizens?
Assimilation ; Common language; common culture.

As a legal immigrant myself, albeit as a young child, I am 100% an American, I truly appreciate my host country without conditions first and foremost.
And I hope you spare me psychobabble. I know the culture where I come from, its history and culture too, Self taught.
I can't imagine embracing illegal aliens from my culture to the detriment of my host adopted country.
Funny thing, when an individual chooses to be charitable, it's a virtue.
When leaders of a country do it on your behalf, it's tyranny and robbery, specially odious when the country is too physically and morally bankrupt to assure the health, welfare and safety of its own.
