A vote for Ted Cruz or, Marco Rubio is a wasted vote.

Posted on 02/26/2016 4:20:03 AM PST by JLAGRAYFOX

A vote cast for either Ted Cruz or, Marco Rubio is a wasted vote!!! This game is over. Donald Trump will be the GOP nominee. I will by pass the verbage played by the mainstream media & the GOP Establishment types last evening, right after the conclusion of said debate. While Rubio strived & Ted Cruz survived, neither will get much further then next Tuesday (Super Tuesday). Ted Cruz will either lose Texas to Trump or, he will barely squeak out a victory. Either way, he is finished. The political death knell for Rubio will come on March 15th....when Trump will slaughter him, politically, in his home state of Florida. For all the Cruz & Rubio ranitng and raving last night, neither of them did little to harm DJT.

In fact, Rubio, elected in 2010 has done very little for the citizens of FLORIDA, and Cruz, elected in 2012 has been more consumed in the last couple of years with himself and his POTUS ambitions, rather then caring for the citizens of the great Lone Star State of TEXAS. Both gentleman perfectly fit the bill of "all talk and, litte or no action!!! shucks, they both are hardly in the Senate to do any of the People's work.

Our country needs a major political overhaul and severe political housecleaning....both the Democrat & Republican Establishment structures need to defeated, in massive fashion....because they have all failed the American Republic and its people. Both Cruz & Rubio are prime & key examples of failed and owned politicans by donors, lobbyists & other political hacks. In their list of priorities......they come first, the American people come last. If you want the likes of Glenn Beck, Nikki Haley, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Lindsay Graham & Jeb Bush as the political mentors of these deadbeat Senators...then be my guest and vote for them

Bootom line... Donald J. Trump stood his ground, showed his spine & tough mantra in cutting down the ex-Mexican President to shreds while Joe Biden, our VP bowed and begged for forgiveness from Mexican political leaders. Me....I'd rather have Donald J. Trump defending & making our countrygreat again,...rather then being whimpy political peons, like Cruz, Rubio & Biden are to crooked & criminal Mexican politicans.

Vote For Donald J. Trump, the next POTUS!!!

A vote for Trump will be a vote for a “D” in the general election.

“Trump is a loser.”

Hmmm...successful multi-billionaire with a huge payroll from employing thousands of people. A herd of very successful children. Has WON 3 of the 1st four primaries by double digits, who has huge leads in most of the Super Tuesday states, has crushed Jeb the GOPe pick to lose the general out of the race. Yeah, that’s a loser. /s

Trump coined a new name for Rubio this morning. Mr. Meltdown. Also referring to them as Ted Rubio and Marco Cruz because he said they’re both Washington insiders and easy to mix up. Trump is great. Also said last night that Rubio sweats so much he looks like he just got out of a swimming pool. I think that was a little reference to Foam Party Marco.

Nice to know that the conservative standard bearer and nominee of the Republican party will be someone who hires illegal aliens and foreign workers instead of Americans.

This is exactly what the establishment Chamberpots (Chamber of Commerce) have been advocating for our country for years. Lower wage workers drive down wages across the board and this of course is good for the bottom line.

It is about time the voice of crony capitalism has a leader and supporter at the top of the GOPe ticket. The do as I day not as I do liberal philosophy has been severely lacking in the ranks of the Republican party, as our opposition has been telling us for years.

Nice to see the top of the ticket will represent this refreshing and evolved stance as it shows how the Republican establishment has finally grown.

The Trump towel to wipe off the dripping sarcasm from this post was MADE IN MEXICO OR CHINA.

heh.

Hugh Hewitt was doing nothing to him, and out of nowhere he told him his show had low ratings.

That kind of thing really bothers me, and if I end up not voting for him in the general, it's because I can't in good conscience endorse that kind of stuff. It is so far beneath the office of the President that there isn't really an analogy or comparison that can be made. Try picturing Reagan saying something like that.

And no, my one non-vote for Trump won't help elect Hillary. It's just my individual conscience that's affected.

The answer is, Cruz is more of an insider than anyone realizes, and the outsider gig has everyone fooled.

It is past time to call out that nonsense for what it is.

Ah, the “its over” propaganda offensive begins. Very predictable.

Yes and any mention of Trump's idiocy or boorish behavior in the coming days will met with accusations of "helping Hillary".

We will be forced to either defend the behavior of this life long Democrat, philandering, billionaire narcissist. Or we will be "RINO's".

Republicans aren't called the "stupid party" for no reason.

I’m a Trump supporter all the way. However, I’ll have to disagree with this posting. I’ve been told that my vote was wasted in a lot of elections for different reasons. It never fails to bring back what I was taught by a patriotic father who valued the privilege of a free election. I’ve been grateful for his insight when my Democrat spouse told me that my Republican vote was “canceled out” by his. I’ve been told that I “lost” my vote because I voted for someone who wound up not winning.

The only way any American can “lose” their vote is by not casting it. That vote belongs to the individual and represents the freedom to have one’s say in our governance, even if it’s ridiculed by every other single voter in this nation, it’s a statement from a person with a voice, however small. That’s what makes America unique. That’s what we are in so much danger of losing if people don’t wake up and take an interest in what’s going wrong with our system.

The Presidential race is not a horse race. It seems as if that wrong headed notion has overtaken many voters. Voting for the “winner” is not the objective. That’s for horse racing and Las Vegas gaming. The objective in the Presidential race is to put someone in the Whitehouse that most effectively can put this nation back on its feet.

It’s hard for me to understand why you would use a tactic that’s been so widely criticized when it was used by the Cruz campaign. It’s still wrong in my opinion. I’ll repeat; the only way one can “waste” their vote is by not casting it.

Unfortunately, I think Trump has this locked up. In the general election it will be him vs. Hillary. For the first time since I have been old enough to vote, I will not vote in this presidential election. Neither candidate is worthy of the office.

You Trump haters have never changed a position in your perfect lives. You all belong on a different website with your attempts at being vicious. All your votes will bring us Hillary. I think deep down in your souls you know this. May God bless your hearts. By the way my IQ is 180.

So people should just stay home and not vote if they don’t support Trump because. . . . It would just be a wasted vote. How American!!!!

Naw...... It’s that person right to select the person he wants to represent his ideals.
True that choice may not win but it still is the voters right to make that decision.
After all it’s our process. We don’t make everyone line and pull the lever for the same person.

In the primary election, no vote is wasted. This is the only time we can let the party know who we support. Strictly voting for the perceived front-runner looks too much like a coronation than an election.

Third-party votes in the general election are wasted votes.

If Trump gets my vote, it will be in the general. He has not convinced me that he is the most electable conservative.

What this primary is doing is separating the real conservatives from the opportunists. I'm in the camp of the former and I know I'm not alone. But it surprises the bejesus out of me that there are so many faux conservatives here.

You are not alone. Many of us have "gone dark" for a time. A few seem to have decamped - hopefully only for a season.

I mostly only read about demagoguery in history books (though I did attend a George Wallace rally in 1968).

It never has had a positive outcome. The most recent was Perot putting Clinton in office. I used to see a few folks here who confessed their mistake in supporting him.

I have been waiting for Mr. Cruz to rid himself of beck. (friend to mitt)

Mr. Cruz hasn't and now seems he to be throwing in with Rubio. (who has been endorsed by mitt)

Well if he's teaming up with them. he's no friend of mine.
