Doc Martin is actually still filming, we’re waiting for the 2nd dvd of series 7, so it’s fairly current.

I grew up on Monty Python and loved it. I found Red Dwarf when it was all but over and was a lifelong fan. I’ve tried a bunch of other stuff and am just about totally indifferent to it.

Man About the House ... it's what Three's Company was based on. Except the guy is not portrayed as the poofter the US version pushes.
Clochmerle ... You never heard of it, but it's hilarious.
The
League of Gentlemen is a must watch.
The Two Ronnies was good but by now pretty dated.

Here’s a dangerous recommendation. It’s about as crude and lewd as a series about teen-age boys can possibly be, but I thought The Inbetweeners was hilarious.

That and Fall & Rise Of Reginald Perrin.

Is that new or relatively old? I tend to lean toward the older stuff...just a question......I’m all for a new comedy that isn’t directly vulgar...just funny in an old innuendo kind of way...Know what i mean? Seinfeldish...;)
