I see Kasich and Rubio each got one Freeper vote yesterday.
Bizarre.
I learn the most arguing with people who disagree with me. It really helps to sharpen you up... so I am glad we have a Kasich and Rubio supporter still hanging around here. I know I got chastised by a Carson person the other day and it did give me pause.
I am just glad that Bush is gone and hopefully his superpacs irritating anti-Trump ice figure ad. My wife and I actually have gone to a lot of Republican Party meetings and dinners over the years. We know many of those who were Bush supporters and actually for the most part they are good people. They are mostly even older than we are; I try to always give respect to my elders and those who have more political experience than we do.
Unfortunately, these people are mostly living in the past. But they are not going away and will fight Trump all the way through the convention. They fear Trump far more than Cruz. They consider Cruz a disagreeable upstart; They consider Trump a threat to every thing that they have built.
Thank you for the daily threads Windflier.
I appreciate the pings to them too.

Yeah, but they are entitled to their opinion. I would rather they vote their conscience than vote to go along. Too many have gone along for years. The base is no longer just going along with the candidates the GOPe want us to vote for in the the primaries and elections.
I would love to see all of us supporting Trump but I understand and respect those who support other candidates, especially Cruz. Cruz has been my second choice throughout the process. However, if Trump has big days on March 1 and March 5 I will begin to expect Cruz to leave the race, yes even before Texas. iF Cruz cannot win a large number of states in the South then he has little chance in the more moderate and liberal states coming after the fifteenth. We cannot let Rubio win Florida or Texas.
