From an article """What is Donald Trump?" The answer?
A giant middle finger from average Americans to the political and media establishment.

Rubio IS owned by the Establishment/Washington Mafia....he is now that Bush has dropped out, the Golden Haired Establishment Boy. Were he to be elected, nothing would change...the status quo would keep their chairmanships, cushy offices/jobs and we could find ourselves border less.

NO TO MARCO RUBIO

With numbers like this, Massachusetts is in play for the general. Amazing.

I think Trump can carry Massachusetts in the general. Their new Republican governor is very popular there (Charlie Baker) and is doing a terrific job. His approval rating is 74% which is the highest gubernatorial approval rating in the nation.

I believe that Ewww Yuck State would be as well. If it went for Trump in the General I’d start calling it New York again

BTW: I lived NYC for 3 years, I don’t just hate it from afar

That Cruz is sitting at 10 per cent (and even behind Kasich) in Massachusetts demonstrates that he is probably not able to mount a winning national campaign. You aren't going to win the general election with a few thousand evangelicals from Iowa.

Cruz's performance in South Carolina last night confirmed that for me. That he did not carry a single county including those heavily laden with evangelicals is not a good indicator that he can effectively compete in the general election.

Cruz got zero of the 50 delegates in South Carolina. There is no way you can spin that as a positive. It was a disastrous night for Cruz.

Trump is running strong in every corner of the nation. Even the one state he lost (Iowa), he was a strong second and only a few thousand votes (and one delegate) behind the leader. As nominee, he will likely win states that Republicans haven't carried in decades.

But I thought Trump couldn't break 35?<<

In “liberal” Massachusetts?... He couldn't if Mao or Stalin were added to the list....

The news is not that Trump is kicking ass, as that is expected. The news is how poorly the rest of the field is doing, the also rans.

Come on. We all know 60% is his real ceiling.

And 70% is his top real ceiling.

And 80% is his absolute top real ceiling.......

One of the talking heads on the shows today was saying how it seemed odd for Trump to take time off from Iowa and NH to hold rallies in Oklahoma and Mississippi and Texas and so forth.

But, he said, it's sure making sense now.

He's already built a good base of support around the country. He's got an advantage from the get-go.

What about all the other counties he won? Is SC full of N.E. transplants? I’m in FL, and one rat down, another to go! No pick yet, but the cream is rising to the top!

Trump also did a few rallies in Massachusetts during last summer and fall. He thinks ahead and it’s paying off.
