A vote cast for Ted Cruz in the South Carolina POTUS Primary is a wasted vote because Ted Cruz will never be elected POTUS under any circumstances. Here are ten compelling reasons why South Carolina voters should shun Ted Cruz and defeat him with a massive loss:
- Ben Carson clearly states that Ted Cruz is a lie teller.
- Marco Rubio clearly states that Ted Cruz is a lie teller.
- Donald J. Trump clearly states the Td Cruz is a serial lie teller.
- Glenn Beck, an unbalanced religious nutcase has endorsed Ted Cruz.
- Ted Cruz will get few African-American votes
- Ted Cruz will get few Hispanic votes.
- Ted Cruz will get few industrial Labot Union member votes.
- Ted Cruz is the weakest "crossover" vote getter in the GOP.
- Ted Cruz will get few minority votes.
- Ted Cruz has not gotten one endorsement from all of his peers the Senate.
I could go on and on commenting on the Cruz or Surrogate negative ads, but if you do not now get the point...you are lost at sea. In addition, Ted Cruz is cold hearted and will do anything legal or illegal to get his way!!! And....Remember, voting for Ted Cruz destroys the future of our great American Republic, because Ted Cruz will lose to any Democrat he faces!!! The choice is yours....voters of South Carolina!!!
If you give a chance to Ted Cruz to contrast his ideas against Hillary or Bernie’s, you’ll have a lot of people come to his side. Trump hasn’t once said he will reduce the size of government. In fact he’s promised to expand ethanol subsidies. Don’t count Cruz out. He’s proven his record in government.
“Do not vote for Ted Cruz.....you will come to regret your vote rather quickly!!!”
I think you’re exactly right about that! If Cruz wins the nomination he won’t win the General. So we get a Socialist as President.
There are things about Trump that I’m not thrilled about. But when people bring up the flag issue in SC, a pope’s Socialist ideas, a naughty word, etc., it’s just verbal slight of hand to detract from the only thing that matters this year: IMMIGRATION!
IMMIGRATION!
IMMIGRATION!
The illegal immigrants are stealing this country from us, whether from Mexico, or the middle east. Not acceptable! Cruz and Rubio have favorable views on amnesty. Why wouldn’t they? They aren’t 100% American and have loyalties elsewhere, whether they admit it or not. I don’t blame them for that; it’s human nature.
Ted Cruz is against illegal immigration. Always has been. Where have you been?
Research my posting history, crap like this has driven me from leaning Trump to leaning Cruz.
I don’t think you are doing Trump any favors.
You insult the True Gray Fox.
Robert E. Lee.
I’ve been paying attention.
A candidate’s negatives indicate who will not vote for them, and Trump’s negatives are higher than Cruz’s.
I come from a big, conservative family. I haven’t made up my mind who to vote for and started out thinking Trump would be best. My BIL says if Trump is nominated he is writing in my dad. My sisters ridicule Trump constantly. My kids ask me how I can even consider Trump. I have done my best to defend him and show how his strengths are needed but it’s a no-go for them. The negatives are just too high.
If the goal is to vote for whoever can win, we need to seriously consider what voters say about a one-on-one match-up, and that doesn’t look good for Trump - although I don’t know if matchups have been done with Bernie as the opposing candidate for either Trump or Cruz. And the stinkier the primary gets, with lies all around, the less likely it is that ANY R candidate can win the general.
I suspect that the election isn’t going to matter anyway, because I think Obama has spent 7 years making good on his stated plan in July of 2007 to be POTUS for “the next 8-10 years”. All is ready, and we can be hit by an EMP attack in November or December, when Obama is “celebrating his accomplishments” with the South American communist regimes who have supplied the sleeper cells in the US to finish us off in an anticipated 2 years where chaos and death reign and no patriot POTUS can even try to save us because elections and/or inauguration CANNOT occur.
What all these candidates need to be talking about is the demand to close the hole in our southern radar defense, or all this campaigning is what will have been wasted.
1) I'm not a Cruz voter. I'm undecided.
2) That's demagoguery right there, i.e. turning a name into a pejorative adjective, and using it to cast dispersion's on other FReepers.
" I was a Cruz supporter until about a month ago, and as much as Trump persuaded me, the Cruzers (as opposed to Cruz supporters) and their vitriol helped nudge me over the line. Way over the line."
That's likely a lie, but I can't prove it. Your first post since 2014 was in July 2015, and you're been pro-Trump in your posts ever since.
"Way over the line" defines Trump and his supporters completely.
You sir are a nutbag.
I agree with you completely, BCC! If Trump wins the nomination but loses the general election because a bunch of conservatives stayed home, the most strident “Trumpsters” may want to examine their posts and see if they didn’t, perhaps, hurt Trump’s chances. Same goes for some of the “Cruzers” I’ve seen around here.
Sheesh, these obnoxious, hateful posts don’t do either candidate any favors. If your guy is so wonderful, sell me on him; don’t barf up vitriol on my candidate. WIN me over to your side with the positives; don’t try to shame or insult me into voting for your guy because it’s NEVER going to happen!
**That last part was not directed at you, BCC.
I always find it amusing that Cruz haters list “No one in the Senate likes him” as a reason to not support him. Last time I checked, the primary reason for supporting Trump or Carson or Fiorina was because people didn’t like the establishment and wanted an “outsider.” So given the ways Trump has promised (remember that word) to do a laundry list of things that the current GOP majority has failed/refused to do, how many pals in the Senate do you think he has?
Harry Reid, maybe?
This is why the Enlightenment, egalitarianism and the American experiment is lost. When a vote is no longer considered a person’s expression of political choice but simply chit in a grand political contest it’s over. The will of the people is no more. Elections are simply a political contest between competing political powers and their supporters.
Doubtful, but that appears to be a decent charade.
I've been supportive of Trump and what he was doing to the race once he got through his first month of campaigning.
But you won't find a post where I didn't say I preferred Cruz until about a month ago. Anyone can look that up, and it's true. But you'd rather call me a liar, because it's the way of the Cruzers (as opposed to Cruz supporters).
There is a difference between Cruz supporters and what I call Cruzers. You have the MO of Cruzer written all over you.
Enjoy your scorched earth tactics. Frankly, I find them reprehensible, and totally antithetical to how you first (and continue to) presented yourself.
He may not be interesting, but you'll never be the man your mother was.
To me, that overwhelmingly confirms why I should vote for Cruz . . . to bust up the Washington insider BS.
Well that sure scare the H E double hockey sticks outta them!
To some, Ted Cruz talks a good game and he may. But if his campaign doesn’t stop sending me up to six emails a day marked “Urgent”, looking for money, he will never get a vote from me.
A list of Donald’s lies would be yuuuuge....
Just this week he said he wasn’t for the Iraq invasion....well that was a lie
He put out the lie that an Oklahoma senator said Cruz was a liar.....that was a lie
We could go on and on but the fact is Cruz has backed up his assertions with evidence with video. Trump and Rubio may not like it but the truth is on video
After the last two candidates that we had nominated because they were moderates and thought they could win the general, I thought most conservatives decided that a real conservative would be the best choice. It didn’t take long for that idea to die.
