He sure is, and that’s precisely why so many of us are FORMER supporters. It took months of due diligence on our parts to sort out who he really is. Once we knew for certain, a lot of us were forced to distance ourselves from him.
Cruz fought to cut military spending via Sequestration, but now claims he has been a staunch supporter of a strong military. He is lying, and I don’t like liars.
I’ve not changed. Still Ted for me.

Why yes. Yes I do.
Ted was a champion debater in college, and a brilliant student. He went on to earn a law degree, and become an outstanding attorney - rising to become our state's Solicitor General. He was well qualified to go to Washington to represent the state of Texas in the US Senate.
He got my vote in the primary, the run-off, and the general election in 2012 because of that.
Having said all that, I don't feel he's what this country needs in a Commander in Chief in these dangerous times. Among other reasons, it's why I'm voting for Trump.
As a four time donor to the Cruz campaign, I got all the same. I actually never stopped to wonder how they got my cell phone number, but they called me quite a bit.
I got off their list by clicking the 'unsubscribe' button just once, on one email. I never got another email from them after that. The phone calls dried up, too.
Not sure how I got so lucky. Others have said they had a helluva time getting off the Cruz campaign lists.

If you notice, in my post, I didn’t say anything about Trump. My post had nothing to do with Trump.
Mark Levin belittled a man for working as a Publix manager. That has nothing to do with Trump. At all.
I think you need to take a breath and think about why you are lashing out at people. I didn’t even say I hated Levin. I just don’t understand why he would mock someone for working for a living and accuse people of being against Israel when the site is clearly pro-Israel.
Just to reiterate, this has nothing at all to do with Trump. Nothing at all. In a vacuum, I would still question the sanity of anyone running a radio show making fun of someone for being the manager of a grocery store.
Statements like that from Rush make me doubt his actual knowledge of current (even past) events, or even his sincerity as a principled conservative.
I mean, after all we've discovered about Marco Rubio, how on earth can anyone - most especially Rush - call that guy anything but a turncoat and a fraud?
I have donated to Cruz, also.
I get something once a week in the mail and a home phone call about once a month.
I get more stuff in my mail box from local candidates than I do from Cruz, but that has always been the case.

The holier than thou Puritanism stained with ironic hypocrisy did in the Cruz campaign.
As far as NWO goes, none of them have sold me 100%.
I think Carson and Sanders(oddly enough) are the least NWO, but I don’t believe they really know what that means.
I liked him and wanted him on the ticket with Trump. I first was turned off by Cruz at his Iowa victory speech. First words out of his mouth were thanking Gd. That is a pet peeve of mine, thanking the Almighty for a contest between men, AS IF Gd Didn’t like the other candidates. And then, he went into a full on speech about VICTORY!! when it was only one small state and caucus. It was absolutely horrible. The Cruz I thought he was would have given a different speech, a humble speech, thanking his voters and campaign workers, and talking about the work that still lies ahead.
Next were the mailers to look like the voters had done something wrong, and shaming them in front of their neighbors, with fake facts.
Then the lies about Carson, and the even worse coverup and after the fact public humiliating apology.
He just turned out to NOT be the person I had thought him to be. Now, he continues a pattern of lying against Trump. The kind of stupid lies that are easy disproven. He lost me.
[ Seriously, the founders didn’t mean for ‘natural born’ to be so damn flexible.]
So, someone born by “C” Section cannot be considered to be a “natural born” citizen.
