Petition: Trump Should Sue Cruz on Presidential Eligibility
iPetition.com ^ | 02/18/16 | bolobaby

Posted on 02/18/2016 7:04:38 AM PST by bolobaby

READ CAREFULLY!

Donald Trump has no balls. If he did, he would sue Ted Cruz on his presidential eligibility since he now has standing. He and his supporters are full of crap and will never really challenge Ted Cruz on eligibility because they know they will not win.

Donald Trump's failure to sue Cruz demonstrates that he is full of bluster and will do the same thing all politicians do - yap endlessly on something, but never take action.

Cruz and Trump supporters alike should urge Trump to PROVE he's a man of action and not just full of crap.

Sue Cruz or urge your supporters to shut up.

The RNC should request documentation from candidates that prove citizenship. When we apply for a job, all of us have to prove our citizenship.

We have Cruz’ birth certificate, which proves he was born a Canadian citizen at a time when Canada did not allow dual citizen.

We do not know if his mother applied for Canadian citizenship for herself when his father did. We haven’t see his father’s Canadian citizenship papers.

We do not know if his mother applied for a CRBA for Ted at the time of birth.

We do not know if she applied later, perhaps when he got his passport. We do not know what citizenship is on the passport.

He has not shared his CRBA (if he has one) nor his passport with the American people.

When Ted provides the CRBA and passport to the RNC (and us), then Trump can decide to sue or not as to whether Ted meets the criteria of a NBC.

I’ll repeat what I’ve been saying. Read the petition. Whoever wrote it turned it into a statement denigrating Trump instead of being a simple request that the lawsuit be filed. I’ll support the petition if it’s presented as an objective desire to settle the issue.

-- He doesn't need to. Cruz will fade away on his own. --

That's what I'm thinking too. Plus, the timing now is wrong, at least vs. the SC race. Trump is winning, there is no benefit to suing. He could sue in the Super Tuesday states, and run a "rolling lawsuit" sort of thing as the primaries come up. I think all of that is contingent on two things - one being that Cruz comes close enough to take a significant number of delegates, and the other being that the public come to accept that Cruz's ads are misleading. I know that is using political calculus to resolve a legal issue, but the public isn't rational, and will prefer to see a lawsuit as retaliation, than as trying to follow the law.

If Trump is smart (and I know he is), he will dangle this over Cruz for all it’s worth.

Why would he settle the matter when the Cruz campaign is not only diverting much resources to address the matter, but every-time they do address it, they put Trump (and the issue) back on a headline.

Smart politics.

I’ve said before, the very hard core Cruzers will never migrate to Trumps camp, I’ve seen it posted just today that one would rather vote for Hillary or Bernie than Trump, so there is no need to court that far far wing.

I am sure those people would vote Cruz over Jesus, claiming Jesus is a Jew, a friend of Judas and he gets donations from Democrats; therefore not pure enough for them.

Oh I don’t care much for online petitions. Too easy to get fake results. I am very concerned about legal bullies. I’m an attorney. It’s hard enough dealing with all the ugly stereotypes about lawyers. But when they fulfill the stereotype and become soul-less warriors of wealthy tyrants, that’s bad for everybody. I’m glad to see Cruz calling the Don’s bluff. Trump put his liberalism into the public record, and he’s got to live with it. Let people see the record and make up their own minds whether they believe he’s suddenly become a brilliant, committed conservative. I for one do not.

Peace,

SR

Wow, look at how clever that is, that you call him “Chump” on every thread simply by changing that “T” to a “C”! What a stunningly simple, effective, and completely original thought! You are sure to garner FR fame for that meme — hell, you might even break the Internet! And I speak for many when I say, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to convey such incisively vital information of such great value to the electoral decisions of us all in such an easy, elegant fashion!

This morning:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/02/18/fox-news-poll-trump-leads-in-south-carolina.html

“Trump captures 32 percent among South Carolina likely Republican primary voters. Ted Cruz gets 19 percent to Marco Rubio’s 15 percent. These are the only three candidates earning double-digit support.”

Trump is winning whether he sues or not lol

Well, I'm blushing at receiving those wonderful words. You write so elegantly and intelligently too. Your use of "Wow" is exceptional. That paragraph you took the time to write, in response to the time I took to post "Chump" is FR material, and should be highlighted on the Forum front page.

When dealing with a classless fool like "Trump", sometimes you have to fight like them in order for his tribal TrumpChump supporters to get wind of the contrast between "Class" and "Classless".

I'd say your response is spot on to what I am aiming for. Flush out the Chump Trumps by giving them a taste of what their tribe's leader is dishing out to others.

Maybe DONEald will send the petitioner a “cease and desist” letter per the standard Trump New York threaten values.

Trump is all bluster no balls he will ever sue Cruz and he won’t due the rest of what his enablers fantasize about.

If he doesn’t sue Cruz after the threats it tells us all about him.

Trump threatens to sue over ads Cruz give him the middle finger and increases the showing of the ads Trump has objected to, when will the sissy Trump sue over being punked like this?

“He won’t, because Chump is a coward...and orange coward.”

True conservatives are courageous, not of themselves but because they have knowledge of the Truth.

If DT showed courage in this matter maybe he does have some knowledge of the Truth. But I think not.

Anyone can run. Anyone can RUN. There is no law saying that even a foreigner who does not hold US citizenship is prohibited from running.

One must be a natural born Citizen to serve. So the foreigner in this example could campaign and if that person won the nomination, then on to win election - THAT is when the lawsuits begin, because that person can not be sworn in to serve.

No one, other than maybe a Secretary of State, has standing to sue as things currently stand.

And to put a point on something - this is not a “birther” issue. That term was adopted to tag people who thought obama was BORN IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY. There is no question about Cruz being born in a foreign country.
