I live in Texas and I promise you it will never be built.

***************

Could you explain your promise that it will never be built? I know there are some major
obsticales to be overcome if it is built.

#1- it will be 100% eminent domain here in Texas

#2- it cuts off the rio grande from ranchers cows

#3- congress and senate will never approve it.

I think the solution here in Texas is to give the feds an easement to build a road along the rio grande and atleast quadruple the border patrol. Plus give bonuses for each capture.

The Rio Grande river is the border between Texas and Mexico. Farmers and rancher both use the river for crops and livestock. Building a wall would cut off access to the river and that would make the folk that rely on the river very unhappy. I suppose the river could be partially rerouted if necessary. But a wall is really only needed in heavily populates areas. Sensors and drones can keep an eye on the rural wilderness areas.
