To: deport

#1- it will be 100% eminent domain here in Texas

#2- it cuts off the rio grande from ranchers cows

#3- congress and senate will never approve it.

I think the solution here in Texas is to give the feds an easement to build a road along the rio grande and atleast quadruple the border patrol. Plus give bonuses for each capture.

I don't think folks understand the topographical landscape of the border in Texas. It's not a
straight line border. It basically follows the middle of the Rio Grande river which isn't a
straight line. Then you have the reservoirs with their meandering shore lines.

True that some of the Rio wouldn't require a fence as the canyon walls to a large extent
provide the barrier. Then you have the problem in towns, cities with the structures being built
up to the river.

All said I guess it could be done but it isn't going to be an easy thing. However we built and
continue to build major freeways across the land and take property along them for the ROW.
