1. Jobs
2. Jobs
3. Jobs
Trump has created more jobs all by himself in the real and productive economy private sector than all 44 presidents COMBINED!
--------------------------------------
3 things that motivate Cruz voters:
1. Constitution(al) Republic
2. Constitution(al) Republic
3. Constitution(al) Republic
If we lose our constitutional republic (and all that that implies), entropy will continue to ensue at a spiraling rate and nothing else -- neither jobs, health care programs, nor great walls with beautiful doors -- will matter. Without our foundation, the structure will crumble. It's really just a matter of how quickly it crumbles. Future generations will curse us if we get this wrong. They will only be able to read about the liberties citizens of the USA once enjoyed.
If you've convinced yourself that Trump will scale back the size, scope and reach of government, if you're comfortable in the knowledge that he will choose Supreme Court nominees who will adhere to the Constitution a written as opposed to a "living document," if you are assured in your heart that he would use such powers as eminent domain judiciously and not outside the purview of the intent of its use (and by implication, all other powers the government has), then support him with great enthusiasm. But you need to understand that there are millions of us who believe Trump is not to be trusted with such power based simply on his history. He has been all over the map on almost every issue. How could one possibly know which Trump they're getting if they decide he's the nominee?
Kindly post a citation demonstrating that Trump knowingly employs illegal aliens. He has stated over and over that he checks the backgrounds of his employees, and the only illegals I have heard about working for his projects are those who were hired by subcontractors.
Example: I live in an HOA community, and must pay dues every month for residents to behave generally appropriately and for maintenance. The Board hires a company that employs illegals to mow, mulch and snowblow. I imagine you believe I should pack up and move away, since my efforts at changing the Board's decision have not been successful; otherwise, Christ will reject me on Judgement Day?
The problem of illegals working in our economy is deeply entrenched, and for the past many years since Eisenhower, no administration has effectively moved to stop it. Even Reagan signed a big amnesty bill. Sincere efforts to stop it have been routinely thwarted by "right" lawyers and leftists. Holder and Oblameme have been egregiously thwarting any efforts to stem the tide. Now you want to point the finger at the one man who has dared to say, "It's harmful; let's stop it, and this is how we must go about it!"
Much of Trump’s support is thinly disguised racism against Mexicans and other of Hispanic descent, IMO. We can’t have a president with a Hispanic surname, you know.
Because he is a non-politician, and politicians have been a primary source of our troubles for about sixty years?
I unfortunately know a bit about PTSD also, and although it is not always the result of having “actual combat time” using it as an excuse for all manner of bad behavior turns what is a real problem for some people into a bad joke. On the other hand the media and the Democrats dragging Sarah’s kids into the political discussion is a low blow.
And minefields.
You Cruzbots are some of the most ignorant, overreaching people I’ve ever encountered. Some have bricks between their ears, so, why bother trying to reason with those who are unteachable, know-it-alls?
Enjoyed your About Page photos. The last one (67 yd. FG) wasn't visible for me, though. I hope that prickly golfer isn't you.
If I were going to build a wall to keep out illegals I would build it away from the river maybe 5 or 10 miles inside Texas. Which entry points at existing roads. No way would I build at the physical border. Except in densely populated areas, there I would build it at the border.
Let's see a pic of your kids, so we can compare them to Don Jr and Ivanka.
Let's see your CV, so we can get a sense of proportion vis a vis Trump's career.
And most importantly, let us know what public offices you've run for, which campaigns you've donated to and how much, and what you've done in defense of American values.
Then we'll know how qualified you are, to smear Donald Trump.
Okay, you're joking, right? You really don't understand that American citizens have the right and responsibility to make assessments about their politicians?
Ladies and gentlemen, you have a prime example right here of the reasoning abilities of a good many of the Trump supporters. Here's one who's decided that a U.S. citizen who criticizes Donald Trump is out of line and has listed various reasons why that's so. Besides Byron's obvious intolerance for a differing POV, there's another thing driving his actions and that's the complete disregard for the First Amendment. It would look like Byron thinks the only time you can criticize a candidate is if you meet certain standards. He has spelled out his criteria that would grant a U.S. citizen the right to speak out against a candidate, but what would happen if another individual had a different set of criteria for speaking out? What indeed.
Here's an idea. Let's stay with the first amendment and let OneVike, me and others voice our opinions about Trump's ineptitude and disingenuousness. Trump can either put on his big boy pants and deal with it or he can stay up all night and post whiny tweets that he's being treated unfairly.
BTW, did anyone notice how Trumpian Byron was in his response to OneVike's post? His response had all the earmarks of a Trump tweet: flailing personal attacks. Ah yes, he serves his master well.
Lets see, RCP had The Donald losing to HC by 4.7 % but has Cruz beating HC by .2 %
I’ll go with the guy who has a 4.9 % better chance than the orange oompa loompa.
Point take,
That’s why I put the word in quotations. They call themselves that, but aren’t
I’ll give Cruz credit for having two sentences about amnesty and illegal immigration in his presidential announcement speech. Illegal immigration, building a wall, and deportation were not a main themes of his campaign at that time.
Yes.
FR has always been colorful, had its share of eccentrics and plenty of verbal dueling especially during primaries but its always been conservative.
This season it’s veered into Moonbat territory with the conspiracy theories, Christian bashing, defense of big government, etc.
If I’d just landed on FR today, I’d think it was a progressive web site based on much of the commentary.
LOL excellent comment!
I guess since you missed the many time he has spoke on it you are just ignorant of the facts. He is the only candidate that has stated repeatedly that Common Core will be gone on the first day.
Ignoring what he has actually said shows a disdain for reason.
Posting a comment that is factual but inaccurate in its conclusion is a lie because it is meant to mislead, you quote a fact that does not include the context and it is just a plain lie period. Headlines are often posted here that clearly are designed to mislead the reader.
Hang tough. There’s an Invasion of the Body Snatchers virus about. People whose conservatism had cracks and flaws were vulnerable to trumpfection. Our scientists are working (in the private sector, of course) to try to find a cure for this virus before it’s fatal to the body politic.
I remember back in 2008, a purge of members who defended Rudy Giuliani, in many cases, rightfully so, as some of the attacks were nothing but slander. I doubt there is much difference in most political views between Trump and Giuliani but a world of difference in temperament.
I'm afraid that a lot of people have surrendered to anger rather than rational thought. When was the last time you made a good decision when angry?
IMO, Donald Trump is our Jesse Ventura. Unfortunately, despite the obvious signs, many will not perceive his incompetence until he inflicts it on our country for four years. Like Ventura, Trump has all the earmarks of a disaster waiting to happen.
I credit his popularity to an irrational hunger for ‘red meat’....and he dishes it out in huge servings.
