BS. Get your head out of your nether regions and stop making excuses for the Users and Shakers of society. I've worked for them before. They're bastards. That isn't an "article of faith", that is fact based on my personal experiences with the uber rich. Do your own research if you wish to cover for a whole class and their aberrant financial behaviors. I'm just telling it like it is in my own personal experience. And I also hate Yes-Men who suck up to the rich as if they're blessed Gods or something. They're not. They just know how to make money, like Actors know how to act, nothing more.
First, I want to congratulate Jim Robinson...his site is awesome. That debate thread went like wildfire without any pauses or glitches.
Wow.
I was solidified in my loathing of Trump. What a petulant little baby.
Cruz tried to help. “Adults learn not to interrupt,” he said.
Apparently, Trump is not adult. The mods should have done something about his constant rude interrupting.
What a disaster he was. I liked everyone else, even Rubio, more than I did Trump tonight. Well, except Ben Carson.
I gotta say though, it was a pretty entertaining debate.
The drudge zone may say Trump won but he did not. Cruz won. I don’t know how he kept his cool. I wanted to hit Trump sooo bad.
You’re kind of evading the obvious here.
A man has to prove himself through deed to rightfully claim any title.
It’s not enough to simply proclaim that Ted’s conservative. He needs to demonstrate it in the only real way possible - through making conservative votes in the Senate, and by vocally supporting conservative bills put forth by others. There’s also nothing stopping him from sponsoring conservative legislation, himself.
Now, at this juncture, it’s a bit late for that, as he’s already running for president. We can only measure his ideological compass direction by what votes he’s placed since being in Congress.
I don’t claim to know his full voting record in detail, but I do know that an affirmative vote for TPA and Corker are about the last things a real conservative legislator would do.
Hey, lonestar, I don’t even need to post... you said everything I was thinking.
But I probably will. Ha.
He got even redder in the face when confronted with that. I was afraid his combover might come loose. Lucky there is superglue.
Trump is uninformed about Planned Parenthood and he was caught.
Omigosh. You might try ABC in the wee hours. They might repeat it.
You HAVE to see Cruz... he was sooooo good.
I have to be honest. I don't think any of them came off looking great.
I just don't think anything is going to move. I also don't think many people are "undecided" as is so often claimed.
That being the case, Trump "won" but only in the sense that the dynamics of the race in SC did not change. Did he sway any voters? No. Did he run off any of his loyal supporters? No. He'll take that 35 or 40 percent on election day.
No hope for you buddy. You're discounting the most conservative member of congress in recent memory, for what, someone who just fell off the turnip truck, bumped his head, and became a “conservative”? I'm fine with someone preferring Trump to Cruz, as he's my second choice (see my tag line), but damn if going to accept him to badmouth a real conservative, with huge conservative credentials, on a conservative site, for the sake of running flack for his preferred candidate. As I said, something smells bad in Denmark, and I think it is YOU.
What a cheap stunt that was by Drudge.
His poll has to be slanted for Trump.
There’s no way anyone in his/her right mind who watched that debate would say Trump won.
He cannot take criticizm. He is so not presidential.
Did you see him when Jeb mentioned the bankruptcies ... the people thrown out of work.
I do not think ‘business mogul’ or even ‘reality star’ or even marrier of hot trophy wives is a qualification for president.
Yes, he’s done deals and yes he will continue to do deals... all with Trump in mind ... I do not believe he loves the American people or anything else as much as he loves Trump.
Donny’s Trumper-tantrums made everyone else look good by comparison. He looked and sounded seriously unhinged, unstable, and unfit for office.
There is a list of online polls here. Feel free to check them out.

You are wrong.
I’ve known Cruz for a long time. He’s a Texan.
He won an expected and overwhelming race for Senate against a better known opponent.
He then acted as a Senator true to what he ran on.
You probably do not understand all the intricacies of those bills to which you refer and I don’t either but I know he’s a consistent conservative with core values.
And Trump is not.
You're displaying the sort of class envy, jealousy, and hatred against the rich, that common liberals do. It's simply a flat out lie that every single person of extreme net worth, is an evil, blood sucking bastard.
I heard a guy being interviewed the other day. Seems the media has been trying to track him down since Trump got in the race because of a story that he's connected to.
As the story goes, Trump's limo broke down on some back road years ago. A local guy happens by and stops to see if he can help. He's handy with mechanical things and quickly fixes the problem. Trump gets his name, thanks him, then goes on his way.
Some time later, this guy gets a letter from his mortgage company saying his house has been paid off by one Donald Trump.
Long story short, somebody finally tracked this guy down and verified the story. Apparently, it's true. Trump himself has never spoken about it. And that's one of many such stories about the man.
I hope you’re wrong but probably only wonks like us watched the debate all the way through.
I thought most of them looked good. I’m so mad at Ben Carson I fast forwarded through him but I watched them all.
Rubio was much better but he didn’t hold up to the Christie abuse last week. Only Cruz is calm and steady enough not to let that stuff rile him.
Jeb got a lot of sympathy because Trump was do darn hateful and mean and rude and hateful and mean and ...
I honestly don’t know why people like Trump so I don’t know if his disastrous performance tonight will hurt him.
Charles, you are so right.
Trump did make everyone else look better. Even Jeb Bush came off as sympathetic.
I’m not sure he is mentally stable. Why couldn’t he keep his cool during a two-hour debate. Embarrassing.
Nice little story but didn’t win me over.
I know what I saw... an unhinged, bad-tempered baby who would not let others speak.
Ted was originally my guy. I donated four times to his presidential campaign, and only stopped donating when he voted for TPA. In addition, I voted for Ted for U.S. Senate, in the primary, the run-off, and the general elections in Texas.
So why don't I support Ted now?
TPA
Corker bill
H1-B visas
'Poison Pill' amendment tickery
Teddy bears and soccer balls for illegals
Glenn Beck already swore him in as President
Married to Goldman Sachs
Robert Mercer
Homo mega-donors
"NY values"
Me too!
Canadian born (not NBC)
Career government employee
Freshman Senator, wet behind the ears
Iowa Caucus debacle
Preachy, not natural (a personal turn-off)
I soured on Ted for all of the reasons above.
When Trump came on the scene, he came out of the gate saying the exact things I needed to hear from a candidate. Even still, it took me a few weeks of studying the man, to give him my support for president. I'm now comfortable with that choice, and have no expectations of changing it.
Hey you great defender of the rich, I've no class envy or jealousy or hatred of the rich. I'm rich myself, just through honest hard work, not from screwing a whole bunch of people out of their hard earned money along the way to acquire it. As I said, we're talking about the Uber rich here. Did you miss that part? They're Uber rich for a reason, they've screwed countless people out of their money by all kinds of nefarious means, with no compunctions not to, or regrets, verstehen sie?
Dude, you’ve got some sort of issues with “uber” rich folks. Nuttin I can do about that.
Peace be with you, man. Good night.
