I was born Catholic, went to Catholic schools...except for college. Never read the bible. Don’t even own one. But I lead a good Christian life as do all of my family.

Good point. Since the ONLY Christians that Trump feels the need to address is "the Evangelicals", I will abide by his campaign tactic and conclude he is NOT interested in earning my vote. I mean, what's 70 million Catholics anyway? Not like we affect elections this country, right?
Your statement is so wrong on so many levels I can’t fashion a response on FR, but please rethink what you wrote. You can’t be born Christian. Christian schools can’t fix your heart, and how can you know what a Christian life is without reading the Bible? You are resting you soul on a false premise. Religion is NOT what God is looking for. The Pharisee’s were religious.

When Clinton had a few photo op pics with his bible in hand.... we all made fun of him because every freeper at this site knew it was just a photo op trying to get votes etc. Some of us view Trumpy the same way we viewed Clinton when he waves his bible over his head. Others here believe Trumpy is genuine.... “step right up... 3 throws for $5. Knock them all down and you win a prize.... “ And half the freepers here throw their money down to win that 10 cent prize.....
Indeed! Living a good life is nice, but it can’t possibly save. The most moral law-keeping people were the Scribes and Pharisees, but here is what Christ said of them:

The only way to heaven is Christ Jesus. He is The way, the truth, and the life. The standard of God’s kingdom is absolute spotless perfection, which is an impossibility for any man. Without His perfect righteousness imputed to a sinner’s account, there is no chance to ever see the kingdom.
Salvation isn’t achieved through deeds, it’s found only in a man, the perfect God man who gave His life for sinners. And the one and only way to lay hold of Him and His sacrifice is by faith. The just shall live by faith!
I got kicked out of school for two weeks because I spoke against this ignorance.
The church has since changed....except that they still believe in communism.
I believe Trump is a good Christian with Christian values and is not excluding any Christian.

When I lived in the south for a year, my first invitation (date) was to go to a Baptist Meeting. My second was to go on a fishing boat. Guess....
It’s his Mom’s bible. My mom never owned a bible nor did any family member.
