TV host Glenn Beck attacked Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump Thursday, saying "too many people are looking at Trump and believing that man has ever opened a Bible that's the biggest crock of bullcrap I've ever heard."

I like to see a man standing at the foot of a skyscraper...It doesn't dwarf him, it makes him greater than the structure. It reveals his true dimensions to the world. What we love about these buildings, Dominique, is the creative faculty, the heroic in man.

It’s hard to ignore the messenger when he is bat $@#% crazy.
Yes that was good stuff!
I don’t think the Christianity thing will make a difference.
I have no faith in Trump’s Christianity, because Trump says he’s never felt the need to ask God for forgiveness, which a claim no true Christian could ever make. But I’ll still vote for him if he’s the Republican nominee.
The bankruptcy thing worries me more. I believe Trump will be better than Obama in a lot of ways, but his money management skills stink, and he seems to buy into the same Keynesian theories about money and government that got us in trouble in the first place.
Did Glen cry?
I don't know of anyone else exposing Communist infiltration on TV.
Patriots have a very tough time making it onto TV. It seems only liberals are given access to televisions large audience. That one reason why there is conservative talk radio.
I think Glenn Beck lost his Fox TV show not because of ratings but because he was exposing leftists, such as Soros, who are trying to destroy America.
True, however we are supposed to have discernment.
+1.
I used to make certain I was home at 5:00 PM every weekday to catch his show.
I recorded many of them.
Shows Ted Cruz isn't presidential material
It’s the Holy Spirit that brings sinners to Christ. All any of us can do is provide knowledge and the opportunity for the Spirit to work.
Great post!
Cruz supporters are a bunch of ‘holier than thou’
Church Ladies. They are afflicted with Church Lady Syndrome. They get off on wagging a finger at someone else and scolding them for not being ‘holy enough’ or ‘Christian enough’ or ‘conservative enough’. The whole Cruz campaign is a campaign of shaming other Republicans.
Like the old saying goes, when you wag a finger at someone else, there are 3 fingers pointing back at you.
Cruz supporters, go ahead and select your Pope, St. Teddy.
We are selecting a President.
TAKE BACK AMERICA. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. GO TRUMP!
Oh, the irony on this thread - “you can’t judge someone else’s Christianity. Especially if you are Mormon!”
Lol! True. I was just trying to downplay his contribution a bit. Otherwise it might have seemed to someone who didn't know much about what he did, or the communist movement itself, that I was being too over-the-top on the amount of credit I was giving to him.
I have listened to Beck for years. I have learned a lot and have always enjoyed the silliness of Glenn, Pat and Stu. You are right—much of what GB foresaw (the Muslim Brotherhood & Communists infiltration of WH and govt, etc) has become clear to even the most casual follower of current events. I remember him even going on a rant (several years ago) about Obama (to the effect) ‘he’ll never call Muslim terrorism what it is’ and he was right, he hasn’t.
But most recently, on the days I’ve been home and wanted to listen, I’ve had to turn his show off. He is off the rails w/all things Ted Cruz...even the mailing of the “voter alert” letters right before Iowa was parsed in a ten minute rant about why those who received it were WRONG to question the Cruz campaign...yada yada.
He (and his on air cohorts) are so in a Biblical Bromance w/Ted that, to me, they are the 2016’version of Oprah (from 2007) and her breathless proclamation of BHO “being the One we have waited for.” And we see how that endorsement worked out for the country!
I don’t agree with/Marco Rubio on somethings (and I’d have a really hard time voting for him this cycle) but he was spot on when he went to any and all microphones when the “republican Messiah” was used to describe him. I wonder if Cruz was given that religious moniker if he would denounce it as fervently?
Add in the Beck “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and he has made his show” just awful.
Trump is Moby Dick to Beck’s Captain Ahab.
Glenn is so obsessed with getting Trump, he needs to stomp around his set clutching a harpoon.
I’m seeing that too. It is pretty disgusting how the same half dozen or so posters troll every thread and say the same things, over and over. Half the time they just ignore the topic of the post and start slinging mud, or worse. They don’t seem to notice how asinine their attacks are, or don’t care, just notch up another cheap, pointless shot. There a couple of names that I am researching now. They are never around at the same time. They never post anything original themselves, just crawl around and take shots at other people. They show up on every Trump/Cruz thread with the same crap.
Call me.....Ishmael...... I’ll give you my cell.
And for good reason. Trump would be potentially very dangerous if elected president. He's at best incredibly naive, at worst, in bed with the devil.
Cruz, on the other hand, 'gets it' on the complex situation in Syria regarding Russia's broader (expansionist) agenda there, and elsewhere. Trump either doesn't or is in cahoots with Putin on it, the latter being the more likely.
Isn’t Beck Mormon? I think he’s seen bigger crocks.
