A guy who went to FSU, should never be allowed to play a guy named “Gator.”
Bama McCall was better.
Love Burt Reynolds! Can’t believe Best Little Whorehouse in Texas didn’t make the top 10. One of the funniest movies ever! Dom DeLuise, Dolly Parton, Jim Nabors were all great. Here is one of the best scenes with Burt & Dom.............
Buford T. Justice: [to his son] There’s no way, *no* way that you came from *my* loins. Soon as I get home, first thing I’m gonna do is punch yo mamma in da mouth!
So then that wasn't you in post 2?
Nope.
But I've been told the resemblance is strikingly similar.
My Father will be 93 in March. He uses a Walker to steady himself but he goes to 3 Dances a week in his Retirement Community.
I’ll be lucky to be on Life Support at his age if I get that far. He has 30 Years on me and his Memory is better. LOL
Lol!
Semi Tough is my favorite, a great send up of the 70’s “theraputic” culture.
“W.W. And The Dixie Dance Kings” with Jerry Reed and Art Carney is one of his funniest...maybe his funniest. Reynolds plays a reprobate who only robs gas stations and banks owned by a certain oil company. Art Carney steals the picture as a bible-quoting officer of the law hired to get Reynolds. “Smokey and The Bandit” was crap.
Not in my opinion
To #9. Glad someone remembered Reynold’s role as possibly the devil, in the X-Files episode. He was really impish and delightful.
The main thing we got to worry about is the baby boomer generation will not be taken care of like our fathers generation. There is not enough money in the FED to pay for our last years and I really believe we will be given the choice or care will be with held. All our tax dollars we contributed for SS and medicare were pissed away long before we needed it.
In Starting Over, my favorite scene is when they go back to Jill Clayburg’s (?) Apartment (or his, can’t remember).
They start necking and she starts moaning. Bert stops, grabs her, looks her in the eye and says, I’m not really that good (or words to that effect).
Really cracked me up for some reason. Now off to YouTube to see if my memory is intact.
So then that wasn't you in post 2?
Nope.

Lol!
LOL???
I don't get it.
What's so funny?
I thought that Skullduggery was a very good movie and that Burt did a great job, although I would watch anything with Roger C. Carmel (aka Harry Mudd) in it.
Herbert “Cowboy” Coward who played the toothless mountain man was sort of scary in real life. When asked if he would mind playing the part of a person who rapes a man he replied “I’ve done worse.”
My grandfather was on the roof, doing that at 76.
(Oh...and you didn't try to tell him not to be up there)
Oh baby. That’s the Burt I remember. Hmmm hmmm.
That was supposed to be then new mature and sophisticated Burt.
Somehow it never worked out.
