Apple has stated that the average price of the Apple Watch is $505. That means that the revenue from the Apple Watch was $6.06 billion. Apple's company wide margin last year was approximately 40%, so using Canalys' figures, we can estimate that Apple made around $2.4 Billion from the Apple Watch in 2015. That amount agrees quite nicely with the increase in Apple's reported increase in the "Other Revenue" category as shown in the company's 10K Financial Report, after allowing for the reduction in iPod sales and allowing for sales of the new Apple TV 4. -- Swordmaker

Canalys statistical market analysis estimates that Apple sold 12 million. Apple Watches in 2015, which would mean approximately $6 billion in revenue for about $2.4 billion in profits. The number represents 2/3rds of the smart watch market. -- PING!

Not to my house they didn’t. Apple is banned here since they wouldn’t help stop the unknown jerk who was ordering their carp using my credit card. Apparently, it wasn’t serious enough for giant Apple, never mind it was big time serious for little bitty me.

Loving my Watch. Lost 9 pounds in a month with it. I actually use my calendar again.
It’s not perfect, and not every app should support it (hammer/nail effect). Needs work, has a bright future.
Yes, y’all should buy one when v2 comes out.

I am still loving my Samsung Gear 2 smart watch after well over a year. It still holds a charge for two or three days depending on how I use it. I put a neat looking Rolex face on it that I copied from Google Images when I first got it. I loaded it up with a lot of apps; it is more useful and easier to use than I initially imagined it would be. Of course it cost a lot less than an Apple watch.
I am curious how much anyone here is enjoying the Apple Watch after using it for a few months.

Sure enough, it’s the disaster predicted by so many people on your Apple threads.

My wife and were at a hotel that sold very high end jewelry, watches, perfume, handbags, etc. I was amazed that Rolex, Cartier, Brietling, etc still sold their high end watches. These watches are status symbols above any true innovative functionality. At their core, they all use a variation of 15th century pocket watch technology.
