We are suppose to be on the same team and have the same goals. What went wrong? I'm not dumping FR. Just going to give it a month or so. The msm must love to read these post lately . You’re making at least two big assumptions very early in this contest.
1. Hillary will get the nod.
2. Trump is the only one that can beat Hillary.

You’re correct, people need to focus their fire on the enemy, not one another. It’s been a trail to watch folks go after one another. Maybe it will calm down after a few primaries and we may even be able to unite again.
When politics get under your skin, block it out for a bit. That is what I do, too. It will be a long election season.

If I've included in ping to this comment anyone who has not themselves been involved in discussing this matter, then bear with me if you would, for each person I've pinged here has either made less-than well founded comments, or else been addressed by those who have.
The individual who Responsibility2nd and Eddie01 has mentioned on this thread, did not state that they were leaving, and would not return, etc.
The way you (both) put it is something of a mischaracterization, forgivable enough though, for reason of that thread's title as many here, including myself, first encountered it.
To explain;
The [My Opus] portion of that thread title was added by a moderator. I was first tipped off to that aspect of that thread by a comment on the thread, an individual there saying there that they had seen the thread (and title) prior to the addition. Just now, a little while ago, I have had this information confirmed by the OP of that thread, which initially had been entitled "Trumpees" minus the "[My Opus]" later addition and that the thread posting was not intended to be an opus.
The OP did not deliberately craft an opus, but was given short "time-out" suspension of FR account, nonetheless.
Does this sound fair enough?
I am not deliberately attempting to mislead anyone, but am hoping to put to rest invalid, and unnecessary extraneous info being glommed on to what DID occur.
All in all it did not come across to me as having been intentionally posted as a "here's my opus -- Goodbye Cruel Forum I'm Gone" but more like a venting of The Spleen of Frustration*. That too has been confirmed by the OP, although the terminology and capitalization which I just characterized the thread as being, is of my own invention. She said something more along lines of "It's been like an insane asylum" recently, and who could argue that point, regardless of whoever one supports in this on-going presidential election primary season?
