yea I would like to see Trump and Cruz call a truce. If not, we may have Rubio jammed down our throats.

I posted earlier that if Cruz and Rubio do better than expected it’s because all those newbies and liberals who switched to republican did it because they hate Trump. They don’t want Trump going up against Hillary.

Rubio had twice the votes at my precinct. There was no fix. He just had more votes.
Not mine but many of my neighbors.

Realclearpolitics had it as Trump 30, Cruz 24, and Rubio 16 for the past week. Cruz and Rubio are both beating that by about five points, and Trump is under-performing by about five.

They’re voting Rubio and Cruz.

Personally, I lost confidence in the elections several years back. Obama cheated. Bush One wanted Clinton in and the deal was cut to let Bush Two replace him. I can vote all I want but it never counts. The person who gets in the white house is selected long before the election. Bet on it.

The establishment doesn’t care if their candidate is on the ballot and conservatives stay home. If the democrat wins they’re just as happy. Kristol said he would support a third party if Trump is the nominee. And what does Kristol always say about a third party? “You’re handing the election to the democrat.”

Trump will play the “comeback kid” card in NH. I don’t know why everyone has their knickers in a twist over Rubio finishing 3rd. Clearly this race has already narrowed to Cruz, Trump, Rubio, with Christie as the lone remaining viable dark horse. None of this is news. I’m much more interested in Bernie v. Hillary, that one’s a nailbiter as of now.

Polls

When it comes to poll paper I buy Northern. Don’t care for Charmin or the store brands.

Rubio is the establishment candidate, look at the collapse of the Fiorina, Christie, Bush. et al Kasich. HE has consolidated the Establishment wing of the party.

He could beat Trump in NH.

Please keep Bush and Kasich in the race as long as possible. Otherwise, the conservatives will be splitting votes between several decent candidates and the GOP-e will all line up for Rubio. Add Bush’s 2.8 and Kasich’s 1.8 and you have Rubio tying or beating Trump.

Overall, the conservatives are trouncing the e’s about 3-1.

Yeah well I hope that is what really happens. Sanders becomes President of Sweden.

But not Rubio President of U.S.

"With Cruz finishing second the field will stay crowded well into March."

I am deeply sorry for your loss, Trumpeteer.

One woman who attended a caucus stated that she spoke with several young men there who stated they were registered Democrats but had switch to Republicans to vote for Rubio.

Rubio became THE establishment guy tonight. He’s got a compelling personal story, generational transition factor - appeal to Latinos and young voters.

Jeb couldn’t get it off the ground, nor Katich.

A bow out by Carson would help Cruz the most. Be interesting to see how long he stays in.

Trump is polling very well in the next two states. 2nd place and close is a solid job.

Cruz had the ground game - had visited all 99 counties - and put all his money here. So I wasn’t surprised. All about the ground game.
