ONTARIO, CA (KTRK) -- A couple was married this weekend in California just five minutes after meeting each other for the very first time.
Erica Harris and Arte Vann say they fell in love with each other last year after a courtship that began on Instagram.

This won’t end well.
I wish them well.
I agree. Saw this on local tv as they met at airport.
It was cute, but I’d advise a prenup if there are any assets involved.

She’s after his Toque
Maybe she met him somewhere besides a California airport?
Did they pass out honey roasted nuts at the reception?
I sort of got married this way. We chatted for couple weeks...agreed to marry and met 1 month after to give her ring...married one month later...nearly 16 years ago. Best decision I ever made.
He did have that Zach Brown look. My 35 yr old daughter considers that quite attractive.
Oh, I don’t know, there were some very short engagements during wartime that led to long marriages. My parents had only a couple of dates and mainly corresponded via letters and their marriage lasted until death. My navy nurse aunt had a similar experience.
Forgive me but I'd be thinking of a little prehump too.
My mother in law, soon turning 89, married her one and only husband by an old world style arranged marriage, right after WWII.
She was in Italy, and he was in Los Angeles, and had served in combat in Germany. His parents had come from a certain complex of small villages in Italy.
Anyway the two families arranged their marriage, she traveled from Italy and met him, married and raised a family of six children.
The family remains in contact between the US and Italy. Two of three siblings came to the US, one remained in Italy. The oldest son of the sister in Italy died a few days ago, age 70.
My grandma said that grandpa mailed her a check to go buy an engagement ring-I assume it was while he was in the service during WWII. They were married for over 60 years.
I think they are safe in that depaertment
Actual lol moment....
Tats on his knuckles are a nice touch too
He is over-marrying. This won't last.
God bless them, but why are screeching violins playing in my head? Of course, the vows they exchanged at the airport don’t make it official — they gotta find a pastor/priest, county clerk, justice of the peace...
Mine started with e mail, phone, Viber and Face time. I knew her for a year, before meeting in person, but two minutes after meeting her in person, I said, this is the one. That was 2013. So far, it is ending well. I hope it continues :-)
Arte Vann
If he was late, would it be an Arte Vann delay?
