Prior to this primary, I've never seen or partaken in, the vitriolic discussions Ive seen on FreeRepublic before now. Particularly when we all have held the same goal for so long.
But I am now guilty, as others are...
I have said some ugly things and heard some ugly things. I understand them all.
We all know how important this election is and we all have our ideas about how to get where we need to be. For the primary season, I say let the differences be aired, but not hold grudges or harbor hate in our hearts for one another.
When the primary season is over, let us come together.
In all truth and FRiendship I say: Go Cruz! Go Trump! Or Go Trump! Go Cruz!
We are so much better than how we have been acting.
Completely and totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is ugly, isn’t it! This has happened before. I just don’t spend much time here lately.
Agree and let’s hope it is Trump our Cruz.
I like good natured banter as well as the next person, even a bit of snark can be fun, but we betray ourselves with this serious infighting.
Cumbaya my Lord ... Cumbaya ...
I’m for Cruz.
Can’t and won’t vote for a false conservative like Trump.
I no longer will vote pragmatically as Bill Buckley always preached. The time is too late and the stakes are too high to participate in another Punch & Judy scam.
I will vote conscience and let the country go where it may.
To hell with the treasonous left and the corrupted Republicans.
You’re for Trump
and I’m for CRUZ
One might win
but one will lose
Gimmie five
or give me ten
either’ll be better
than obama’s been
totally agree Trump, Cruz, Trump, Cruz, Cruz, Trump
Amen! Eyes on the horizon and our shared goals of ordered liberty, self governance, personal responsibility, and God-given rights.
Either is acceptable, regardless of preference, right?
Yup. Apparently a lot of people on both sides believe they can browbeat unbelievers into submission.
And how is it productive to call Ted Cruz a nasty, unlikable, Goldman Sachs, bought Canadian anchor baby? I’m not seeing how that affects our future in a positive way.
Agreed wholeheartedly, KittenClaws! Listen, either one’s gotta be better than that Nightmare on Pennsylvania Avenue for the past 7 years!
want Cruz but would vote for Trump and see no reason why a few are deranged against the other.
I fear though that Cruz did not do a good debate , nor does he look as strong.
I expect the newer members who have been fueling this to go quiet ten months down the road.
Cool, cool.
Primaries are rough.
Good luck to Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.
I try and stay away from the handful who seem on attacking and putting out fake info now.
Cruz will have a long and brilliant career in the senate.
So, if Trump is the nominee, you’ll give the democrats an extra vote by not voting???
Sad.................
