Morgan said the family, who lives in Alabama, claims that the snake escaped at the park and entered an area accessible by park visitors. The incident happened in October 2014.
A Disney spokeswoman confirmed to WKMG that the boy was bitten by a snake at the park, but she said the snake was wild and not part of the park's animal collection.
The family claims the boy's grandmother, who witnessed the incident, went into cardiac arrest and died two days later.

After reading the article I am guessing the snake was non venomous.
Boy was bitten, granny sees it. She a cardiac arrest and dies.
and your right, prob non venomous. Thankfully, my mamma did. It have a heart attack every time I was bit as a kid!
Wild snakes in Flori-duh?
When did that happen?
She dies two days later. Must have taken Granny a while to figure out what she had seen.
This happened in 2014 but just now the family threatens to sue....?
Morgan and Morgan are bottom feeding, ambulance chasing scum. They took in Charley Crist and ran him for governor. They are pushing a constitutional amendment for ‘medical Marijuana’. Real scum.
She had the heart attack 2 days later... The snake was wild and not venomous... Granny was in her late 80’s and just spent several LONG days standing/walking in the Florida sun , probably the most exertion she’s had in a decade or two...
And she’s being sued by liberal ambulance chaser and Obama fundraising kingpin John Morgan... (he’s letting his kid be lead on this suit).
If it were a Florida swamp python , whose snakebite consumed the child in one gulp, grandmama might have good cause for her cardiac arrest. ;^(
It’s always been my tagline. . .
“And she’s being sued by liberal ambulance chaser”
I’m not going to bother to go look, but I really doubt the dead granny is being sued by anyone.
