Because not one of those Aholes last night attacked liberalism . Everyone of them fell right into defending themselves and their record instead of reminding people its Liberalism that is the enemy.
Trump plays chess while these guys play checkers.
Sure he did.
WOW this is the same John Harwood who was asking Trump insulting questions in a previous debate! Looks like Trump haters in media are waving the white flag.
An excellent strategy, all considered. When your opponents rivals are making fools of themselves, it is not necessary for you to engage actively in the fight. All the lunging and feints by Fox News (i.e., the “Army veteran”, the “illegal alien”, and the “knowledgeable Muslim”) were artfully dodged, and what was intended to be accomplished by throwing of The Donald into a nest of vipers was circumvented.
All in all, avoiding a Saul Alinsky type encounter was a most skillful application of “The Art of the Deal”.
Only one person stood up to the media and told them to stick it. He won.
Pray America wakes
Iowa Polling Averages (by RealClearPolitics)
Donald Trump: 31.4%
Ted Cruz: 25.2%
Marco Rubio: 14.4%
“Let me say, I’m a maniac and everyone on this stage is stupid, fat and ugly,” Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas began. “And Ben, you’re a terrible surgeon. Now that we’ve gotten the Donald Trump portion out of the way ...”
I thought that was pathetic considering the fact that at the exact same time Trump was having a veterans/wounded warrior event that raised 6 million.
“what moderator Megyn Kelly called ‘The elephant not on the stage.’”
An elephant in the front yard tends to distract people from what’s going on in the living room.
Trump was not physically at the debate, but he sure was in Megyn and Ted’s heads.
John Harwood wrote this column...the same John Harwood from the infamous CNBC debate. LOL!
