Never underestimate the power of mean and nasty. Cam would get squished.

Of course the punchline there is Dick was never actually mean and nasty. He’s a really nice. They’d probably actually wind up having drinks together and chilling.

Are you old enough to remember him play? I do vividly. He may have been nice after the clock hit 0:00, but before he was a monster possessed.

Re: SB24 was the second Super Bowl I ever watched. I enjoyed watching Joe and the 9ers dole out that 55-10 spanking.

Gadzooks, dark, you young whippersnapper-- My first... was Numero Uno just two weeks after those nasty Packers had defeated American's Team in the old Cotton Bowl--

And the chance of Dallas' other team (The Chiefs)... eating Green Bay's lunch was too delicious to comprehend!

Egad, it was so beautifully coming to pass-- Until... the second half started and Willie Wood got that pick he took down to the Chief's 5 yard line!

Legends grow over time. There’s still the simple facts: Cam is bigger stronger and faster, and Dick was not a dirty player, and a very nice guy. So they wouldn’t come to blows, and if they did Dick would lose, badly. Dick was smaller than the LBs whose tackles Cam regularly breaks now. You can have your dreams, but the evolution of athletes over 45 years always gives the advantage to the new generation.

Re: Butkus Vs Cam

It would take them a week... to cart Cam's broken bones off the field.

'nuff... said--

Hey, lets change the scenario then and say Cam said bad things about JJ Watt's parents, and then flipped him the bird. Is Cam going stomp JJ too?

Anything to rough up that show boating arrogant punk.

Re: There's still the simple facts: [yadda... yadda yadda]

Yes, dis-- Legends grow over time... as does flights of fancy.

Never express facts... that are in fact your opinions--

'Cause we all know that opinions are like arseholes... every swings dick has at least one!

And you may be guilty of having offered more... than you other orifice can cover.

And after I research the balance of my opinions... I'll get back to ya--

I've been listening to both ESPN Radio's Mike & Mike and Fox Sports Radio's The Herd with Colin Cowherd and they are tiring of the whole subject anyway. I've heard snippets from both The Dan Patrick Show, The Rich Eisen Show and Boomer & Carton and they're getting tired of this subject, too.

The only reason why it's still going--in my opinion!--are all those trolls on social media (Twitter and Facebook) keep it alive for often specious reasons.

Re: If I could control the NFL space time continuum, I'd like to send Cam to 1969

Gadzooks, cat-- If I could control... the NFL space time continuum--

I'd send Sam... and Kendal... to my place for the weekend!

You know Bender, I had every intention of pulling for the Panthers in Super Bowl 50 just because my Seahawks play in the NFC too.

But after that "People are scared of me because I'm a black NFL quaretback" crap by Cam, I'm changing my allegiance to Denver, just because I can't stand whiners.

You remember the good old days when NFL players kept their mouths shut and just played great, kick-ass football?

**Sigh**

JJ out weighs Cam by around 40 pounds, same height though. JJ would probably win that one.

Of course really, Cam doesn’t do much. People whine too much. Yeah he celebrates, but he only celebrates when he actually does something, not like those defensive players that gloat about tackling a guy after he gets a first down, and he gives souvenir balls to kids. At this point in time stodgy old people spend more time whining about people celebrating in sports, and the celebrating people spend celebrating, and they’re at least as obnoxious.

Gadzooks, PRO-- Didn't you hear... "frankly, all the national sports radio talk shows are getting tired of dealing with this. (shaking head)"

And you don't want'a be one of... "all those trolls on social media (Twitter and Facebook) keep it alive for often specious reasons"

Do... ya?

I'll have to admit I don't keep up with all the sports shows and sports writers.

I'm just a lone, pissed-off NFL fan who yearns for the good old days.

BTW Bender, did you hear 'The Juice" is garnering some sympathy from a concussion expert, diagnosing OJ with CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy). If he gets out of prison becaue of this, maybe he can finally find Nicole's killer :-)

Must have been that rough ride... Al Cowlings gave him in that old White Bronco--

Gadzooks-- Hope, come next Sunday, no old White Bronco... give Cam such a ride!

Egad-- We'd never hear the end of that... would we?
