Any Comments/suggestions/stories?
Love my Apple 6. Zero problems.
easy one.
Samsung is amazing, cheaper, and doesn’t support a company with a sodomite CEO.
If you go with Android OS, I would buy ONLY a Google Nexus phone or a Blackphone. The other Android phones rarely or NEVER issue security updates. Google will typically rapidly issue security updates for the phones they build. See the following:
To me, security is an overriding concern. Apple always issues security updates. If you don’t want to worry about security/phone hacking issues, go Apple.
I’m looking at the Samsung Galaxy S6 for a variety of reasons.
Battery Life is key.
If you want a great camera, go with the Samsung.
Take it to an Apple store. No ?’s asked and they replace it or fix it. Forget the phone store when your Apple goes haywire.
I just went from S5 to S6+ edge...Love it...huge improvement over the S5.
Got Samsung Galaxy S6 for work. Great cameras (got 2). Great for Chrome users, transfers over contacts automatically when activated as far as I can tell.
Pretty large, but got a Ballistic brand gel case for it and that protects it very well. Easy to see for tired old eyes like mine.
I’ve even used mine as a TV remote when my sister lost the one for her bigscreen.
Only caveats I have is:
#1 - Carrier. Make sure you sign up with a carrier that has decent coverage, especially LTE coverage when you want to surf the net or stream any audio or video.
#2 - Auxiliary jack port. Something is wonky with it connecting to audio via auxiliary cords. The earbuds that ship with it are good and connect well, but good luck trying to get anything else plugged in.
Samsung Galaxy S6 also comes with the NextRadio app, which is handy when you’re on a road trip and listen to FM radio a lot. It will find stations that you like so you can dial them up on your car radio (manually, it doesn’t do that for you).
Google Now (it’s like Siri and Cortana) and voice text work OK as well.
LG. G great phone low cost
I have No Smartphone or ANY Cell Phone for that matter right now.
************
If you intend to use it for phone calls and not running “apps” I’d stick with a “dumb” cellphone.
Android is Google and evil. I was an Apple basher from way back, the iPhone 6S is very good.
Are there any catches with freedompop?

They told me it was something about Apple’s proprietary protocol which pretty much tied their hands on doing anything.
They could tell I was containing a lot of anger when I suggested to them very calmly it was time for them to bend the rules and reverse the transaction. I’m glad they listened to me.

I had the original Note, the Note 3 and now the 4. I'm still learning about features, they are incredible, but, I have to charge it every day. If I don't use it much I could go for a few days but these machines are so incredible you have to use them.
Being able to say “Ok Google” where is this or that place and getting directions to it is incredible. Asking Google for a phone number is instantaneous. “OK Google” call the Shelbyville Road Outback, and it just happens.
I will never go back to Apple and Itunes again. I just plug my phone into my computer and transfer files. Easy peasy.
The features of the stylus on the Note and the ease of using the phone in gloves is too good to be true.
Love my Note,
Agree rr Apple. Rotten.

It is sad indeed that Freepers are so childish concerning technology, but they are.
I phone 6. I have an unlocked I phone 6 World phone. Just change the sim card and use it with any carrier. I use T mobile. It just depends on which platform you use. All my devices are from Apple and they integrate well.
Apple's iPhones are encrypted. Even Apple cannot decipher user data. With Apple you are the customer, and Apple protects your data, but with Google, you are the product because they sell your data! BIG difference.
Also, The Hacker Team, the company which sells the tools to the NSA, CIA, FBI, MI6, and other federal agencies and police agencies around the world to break into mobile devices says the have tools to break in to every mobile device except un-jailbroken Apple iPhones and iPads! They are currently offering $1 million to any hacker who can provide a means to break into iOS. So far it has gone begging.
Not true. Apple isn't interested in your data. Google is. Apple cannot even see your data because it's encrypted and Apple doesn't have your key.
