RETURN of the X-files tonight Video at link http://www.fox.com/the-x-files?cmpid=ppc_goog_FOX_xfiles_ss_2015
Was it worth the wait? We loved the original series.
Personally, I would say a definite yes. Will know if this opinion solidifies after tonight’s episode. LOL Rather like riding a bike - one remembers, but it is not as easy to get in the grove again after so many years. It would definitely be worth watching, especially if you’ve long been a hard core fan. Let US hope Fox network has their programming scheduled set a bit more in concrete tonight.
Just watched it on On Demand. We thought it was very good!
I doubt there are too many bigge Xfiles than I. I am hoping this isn't a 6 episode mini-series on one plot line. IMO a slow start, still. Am hopeful tonight though.
:-))
Sigh....
I recorded both. Fortunately I have Comcast On Demand since the first episode was preempted by the post football game crap and only recorded about the first 20 minutes.
With that being said, I just watched both episodes and they were very intense. I liked the story line and it kinda sorta answered the never asked questions about the origin of all the creepy mutated people they dealt with during the original series.
I'm hooked on it
I believe they called him “Smoking Man”.
Or “Cancer Man.”
The story will be continued tomorrow evening! Now to true XFiles followers we’ve a choice: see the show or to sit around and watch big headed pundits spout the results found in the Iowa Caucus. Personally, I’ll be watching Fox and Scully and will catch the results after the X event. Call me a realist. I’m concerned about the winner in Iowa, but can do nothing from here. Prefer to do something enjoyable instead.
Like The Walking Dead, I prefer to read the comments here before I watch the episode. That allows me to pick up things that I would normally miss in watching........
