AZ looks like they have the dreaded “ First Playoffs Deer-in-the Headlights Syndrome (FPDHS).
Yeah...REALLY bad.
But there’s a snake in the grass...
Carolina’s strength is actually their running game, which includes Cam, 2nd best rushing team in the NFL whereas their passing game was 24th. The rub is Carolina doing what almost all newbies to the SB do - pass too much when their strength is actually in the run.
I look for interceptions and possibly some sacks if Carolina thinks they have to pass a lot and forgets to run more.

I think Palmer and AZ have got to settle down and run their usually very strong passing game (2nd in the NFL) to have a chance here.

I have a tendency to think that the AZ coaching staff has failed to calm down their team and prepare them to play well but relaxed. I looks like AZ is just simply trying too hard. It’s possible the AZ coaching staff has the same problem. Seen it before.
One thing, of many, Bill Walsh did for the Niners was relax them before a big game. Same with John Madden and the Raiders.
Yes, very deflating, if Seattle had gotten even 3 points last week before HT, they might have been able to grab that game.
