Levin did not change his values, neither did Trump!
Besides Limbaugh, Hannity... There seems to be Larry Elder and Mike Gallagher who are sympathetic to Trump. Also Laura Ingraham.
Cruz put his foot in it. Sometimes it happens.

Well done, but for the “North Carolina.’ Go TRUMP Go!
Nice rant. However, it should be pointed out that Levin still sounds same. I just watched Beck on BOR and he seems to have lost it completely.
I lived in NYC for 6 years. It is not conservative, nor is upstate NY. However Trump’s answer really was off the mark in this way. When do Americans NOT jump in and help one another? After tornadoes, earthquakes, winter storms, hurricanes, you name it. Does it make them conservative? NO! Of course not. It means we are all human...well most of us...and we do not have hearts of stone. It has nothing to do with liberalism or conservatism, but humanity, taking care of one another. So, Cruz did not jump the shark there. Trump only proved that NY-ers are like the rest of the country, who jump in and do what needs to be done after a disaster.
Charleston, SOUTH Carolina
No line of attack. A line of defense. But I think he is interested in pursuing the truth about Trump’s claim to be a conservative. Why is that bad?
Mark Levin is more valuable to the conservative cause than Trump will ever be.
He's more than "sort of supporting." He's hoping Trump will be the Man on the White Horse and had him on the show again just a couple of days ago.
Opus?
Love Mark Levin. Shouldn’t be mentioned in the same breath as Beck.
Levin and I have only had one single disagreement this year or last.
Levin said he would vote for Trump, should he be nominated, but I will not.
I suppose it’s not a substantive disagreement, and it’s more a matter of personal preference and party.
I wish people would quit trying to make a big deal out of this.
The NY media is the national media and is a good enemy for Cruz to have, and a bad friend for Trump to have.
It’s a advantageous campaign ‘meme’ -if he doesn’t over do it.
Since you were too much of a coward to ping Mr. Levin with your idiotic rant, I helped you out.
And when Trump says something explicitly liberal and Limbaugh, others criticize Trump you’ll say the same thing..
The thing, with regards to Cruz’s comment that he didn’t think through, is that much of the media is based in New York, and, rightly or wrongly, he just p*ssed them off. So he just created a lot of anger in a group that have the potential to do him harm. These are the kinds of things that a Trump instinctively understands but that Cruz doesn’t until he ends up suffering the negative consequences.
Dear Mr Levin, if you read this thread please know you are not infallible.I’ve bought, read, and enjoyed 2 of your books but also know that I’ve already stopped listening to Beck. Trump is the only fighter on the field. All the rest are party boys or smooth talkers. Including Mr H1B Goldman & Sachs husband
It was Maria Bartoromo who brought it up at the debate. (Cruz had introduced the term on Tuesday on the Howie Carr radio show). Cruz could’ve walked it back then, but he doubled down:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
BARTIROMO: Senator, let me follow up and switch gears.
Senator Cruz, you suggested Mr. Trump, quote, “embodies New York values.” Could you explain what you mean by that?
CRUZ: You know, I think most people know exactly what New York values are.
BARTIROMO: I am from New York. I don’t.
CRUZ: What — what — you’re from New York? So you might not.
But I promise you, in the state of South Carolina, they do....
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Cruz was a little disingenuous to say it came from an interview Trump did on Meet The Press “not too many years ago,” but it was 1999.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
CRUZ: Not too many years ago, Donald did a long interview with Tim Russert. And in that interview, he explained his views on a whole host of issues that were very, very different from the views he’s describing now.
And his explanation — he said, “look, I’m from New York, that’s what we believe in New York. Those aren’t Iowa values, but this is what we believe in New York.” And so that was his explanation.

That's about how long I lasted with Levin today. He's great on some issues, but he's just not anyone I go to for candidate recommendations. Still recall almost falling out of my chair while he gave his endorsement of Orin Hatch for reelection. There was plenty known about Hatch at that point to make conservatives wish someone else had that Utah seat in the Senate.
Probably won't be listening much for while, at least until he gets off his candidate evaluations.
