Well to tell the truth, made yuge move then and only left about 10% remaining in stocks/bonds in 401K. The rest was converted to cash and pulled what I could without penalties.
Converted some of that to gold/silver and durable goods for around the place.
America is truely going to hell in a hand basket and elections ain’t going to fix what is broken with Her.

The masses associate large Market drops with bubbles popping, and that was valid for 2009 when the mortgage debt bubble fully popped (2006-2008).
The current Market drop is *not* from a bubble popping, however. It’s different.
Perhaps a slow deflation instead of a pop.
Well that, plus options are expiring today and Asian markets got creamed last night and Iran flooded the markets with oil after being certified by 0bama’s Iran deal today and BHP took a $7 Billion writedown today...and it’s a 3 day weekend ahead.
No one wants to be Long over this particular 3 day weekend.
Every time the government changes the laws on real estate it causes a disruption in the r.e. market. When they mess with the depreciation schedules, the residency requirements, the 250k exclusion, mortgage deduction, on and on - they have caused huge disruptions. Of course it brings with it opportunity!!
The joke’s on you. Everyone’s already been hurting. Now the energy market scam artists can get a little of that pain too.
