I’m not going to argue all those situations. They’re not part of the discussion unless and until one of them is accepted as the true story. What’s relevant is that it’s generally accepted that Obama was born in the USA and that’s how the Natural Born Citizenship issues are fended off.

So, you are not one of the Natural Born Citizenship purists that insist that BOTH parents must be US citizens in order for their child to be an NBC.

I don't think that part, the two parents being US citizens, was pursued. I thought birthers were brought in the wrong direction, not pursuing the established fact that the dad was not a US citizen. Instead they got played into putting everything with trying to prove that birth certificate is false.

They should not have done that unless they had physical possession of a Kenyan birth certificate.

So, yeah, I think they messed up, but it can be recouped because there was no court case about the parentage. I certainly don't want Obama's situation to be precedent for anything.
