Trump Says Illegal Workers Make His American Resorts Great
News Machete ^ | 1/11/2016 | Ed Straker

Donald Trump is fond of saying that he was the first to talk about a border wall or fence, but back in 2013 when Ted Cruz was pushing an amendment to create it, Donald Trump was actually meeting with a bunch of illegal alien activists to boast about the many illegal aliens who work at his resorts.

...at his New York penthouse office atop Trump Tower, he convened a meeting.

Trump ushered in a pair of men - one to talk about the awards and a Democratic strategist who works with nonprofits - and three young DREAMer activists. The DREAMers were on a tour sharing their stories with those less likely to support them, like tea party supporters.

"You know, the truth is I have a lot of illegals working for me in Miami," he told them, using the term for undocumented immigrants those in the meeting found offensive. "You know in Miami, my golf course is tended by all these Hispanics - if it wasn't for them my lawn wouldn't be the lawn it is; it's the best lawn," Pacheco recalled Trump saying.

Trump said he knew the work of undocumented people is what makes his golf courses and hotels great.

Make America Great! That's Donald Trump's cry. And in Donald Trump's mind, it's illegal aliens who make his resorts great. Then Trump addressed the issue dear to their hearts: amnesty for illegal aliens:

"You've convinced me," Trump said to the delight of the activists in the room.

"We all smiled at each other and said, 'Wow, we did it, we got this guy to change his mind,'" Pacheco said.

Trump was "convinced" to support citizenship for illegal aliens. That's old news, and Trump-bots will claim he has changed his views in two short years. But what is news is that Trump has admitted that he employed large numbers of illegal aliens and undoubtedly still does today, in 2016. How can he credibly run for President on a platform of deporting illegal aliens when he currently, today, employs large numbers of them? Why has he never tried to verify the identity of his employees? If he is content employing large number of illegals, how sincere can he be about deporting them?

Trump's like a bank robber running for president of a bank while still employing robbers to go out and rob banks.

In fact, Trump, who talks incessantly about "bringing jobs back to America" has repeatedly tried to import foreigners to take jobs away from Americans.

GOP 2016 frontrunner Donald Trump is staking his campaign on promises to bring jobs back to America, but a new analysis of U.S. Labor records shows that Trump’s business have imported more than 1,100 foreign workers on temporary visas since 2000. ' One of Mr. Trumps companies, the elite Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, applied to import 70 foreign workers to serve as cooks, wait staff and cleaners this month alone, Reuters reported Friday.

Nine companies that are majority-owned by Mr. Trump have sought to bring in foreign waitresses, cooks, vineyard workers and other laborers on temporary work-visa programs.

Why couldn't Trump fill those jobs with Americans? Because he wanted the cheapest labor possible, and he cares nothing about giving jobs to Americans.

Trump has said he wants to deport illegals and "bring the good ones back". From his own personal business dealings, which continue to this very day, it is clear that he is a hypocrite who cares nothing about the illegal alien problem as long as it helps him line his pockets. I think he will bring all the illegal aliens back. A man who has changed political parties at least five times, leaving the Republican party twice before, cannot be trusted.

"We stopped the Gang of Eight bill. Ted Cruz led the fight against the establishment would be living under amnesty right now if Cruz had not succeeded." - Rush Limbaugh

"It was that close to being passed... and I think I can say this with integrity. Without the vigorous opposition of Ted Cruz, this bill likely would have passed." - Sen. Jeff Sessions

Because it’s a picture crafted by Buzzfeed and Politico, for which they have no evidence for except the word of Communists and illegal aliens.

Oh, it must be a picture of Trump with members of the German-American Bund.

Let’s see...should I trust my lying eyes or “Puny”?

How is it dumb? Most people running for office have to drop out if it is revealed they had ONE illegal alien working for them as a nanny or gardener.

If Trump is actually employing THOUSANDS, then he is that much more unqualified for office.

“By requesting work visas, he would be totally within the law!”

Not quite. Those visas are supposed to be for jobs that can’t be filled by citizens, due to a shortage of skilled applicants. If he is using the process to bring in immigrants for jobs which there is NO shortage of American labor to fill (and there is no shortage for cooks, cleaners, waitstaff, etc), then he is abusing the process, which is illegal.

He has a history of hiring illegals for very low wages. He hired hundreds of illegal Polish workers and paid them less than $5.00 per hour to build his buildings in NYC. Didn’t even provide them with hard hats.

He has said that the illegals can cross the border and be screened for what America wants in terms of immigrants. If they have been “good” and this may apply to a lot of illegals, then they can reenter and be “legal” immigrants. This suits me, and it should suit them and the rest of us. Why? because we finally get to have the debate about who comes across the border. And BTW, people who are already working for Trump, or anyone else have at least one foot on the “good” button.

No problem. The illegals that have made his hotel and golf courses great can paint the blood of a lamb on their doorways and the deportation force will pass them by. The deportation force will pile all other illegals into paddy wagons transport them to the border.

Jeez, I wonder if the ‘RATS are tracking down and documenting a number of the illegal aliens who are employed by Trump? And I wonder if Shrillary has her army of private detectives doing a similar investigation? Could TMZ & National Enquirer be doing the same?

Could frantic firings of illegals be starting now in Trump’s projects?

TRUMP did not hire them. I would guess that Trump hired contractors, who then hired sub-contractors, who then hired illegals. As the client, there is only so much Trump could control.

No video. No audio. Just Pacheco's recall. Right.

Will Trump NOW deny knowledge of illegal aliens being employed by his enterprises instead of US citizens for those jobs?

“Trump uses E-Verify and when the visas run out, he sends them back home”

Do you have any proof about this statement or are you just channeling your clairvoyant knowledge of Trump??

Many states are currently working on legislation to require private employers to use E-Verify, too.

If an employer hires an undocumented worker, even unknowingly, that employer can face severe consequences.

Employers in Arizona can have their business license suspended to 10 days for hiring just one illegal immigrant. If the infraction is committed a second time, Arizona revokes the employer’s business license–permanently. In Virginia, businesses and partnerships are covered by a similar law.

Even if the state doesn’t have a specific immigration law, the employers can be fined under federal law for hiring illegal immigrants. For employers who repeatedly hire undocumented workers, the federal fines can reach as high as $200,000.

In some cases, if an employer repeatedly hires undocumented workers, that employer will be required by the federal government to utilize E-Verify or face additional penalties. Any business owner, however, can sign up for E-Verify. It is available to any employer, even those employers who are not required to utilize it under state or federal law.

Under E-Verify, employers are required to maintain records of all employee identification documents and of their I-9 forms. These records are expected to be up-to-date, as well. I-9 forms must be kept for either 3 years after the worker is hired, or for one year after the worker is terminated, whichever is greater. If a worker’s identity document expires during that time period, the employer is responsible for obtaining new ones.

Employers are also encouraged under federal law, and by some state laws to keep copies of all documents which support the I-9 forms. These copies, however, can not be kept in the employee’s personnel file, but must be kept separate and confidential

Because of these laws, all employers have to use E-Verify or they could face stiff fines....with all the building that Trump does, he is aware of this and undoublty uses it our he would be fined....

He’s a World Known Billionaire that hires thousands of workers a year and has done in all his business years....

“As the client, there is only so much Trump could control”

Actually that is a completely untrue statement. As the client you can set parameters for your contractors to follow within the hiring contract. The government, at all levels, does it all the time to contractors/subcontractors. Even my company hires contractors and we have certain rules outlined in our contracts that all contractors/subcontractors must follow or else they are fired from the contract. If Trump is allowing contractors/subcontractors to hire illegals then Trump is just as much to blame.

Ed Straker is resurrecting the old Politico hit job that reported random “Dreamers”— who admit ambushing Trump in his office— and also admit they have no actual proof that anything they claim was said was actually said. In fact, this is the 3rd or 4th anti-Trump post I’ve seen of him over the past few days.

Gotta make sure our candidate is properly vetted. May the strongest win!
