That “game” turned into a clown show. What a joke.
I believe that’s why they’re known as the Cincinnati Bungles.
There were two penalties at the very end of the game. Please explain that second penalty. I know the first was a hit to the head, but I couldn’t understand the second.
It was embarrassing to watch. Big egos, stupid hits and personal fouls lost it for Cincy in the end.
But not for long. Next up is Denver. Steelers won't win that one.
Only in hockey was it said, “Went to a fight and a hockey game broke out”, seems a football game tried to happen.
Seems 24 & 55 need to be let go from the NFL never to return to blow another game for their team.
The NFL needs to eject a few people on both sides, coaches maybe too, as examples to never do that crap again.
The referees were crap in that game. They must have had money riding on Pittsburgh.
Adam “Pacman” “Dindu Nuffin” Jones...
How pathetic was that!
Coach should be fired for not reeling in his team.
Can any explain why the Bengals didn’t go for the two-point conversion after their first touchdown?
If I own the Bengals, Burfict, Adam Jones, and Marvin Lewis are gone.
The only bright side of being a 49ers fan in years like this is at least I don’t have to be a Bengals fan and watch them get to the playoffs every year but always find a way to lose their first game.
That was not a choke . . . that was ONE player undisciplined enough to risk the game that the rest of his teammates gave everything they had to win. Why that player, who had already been identified as a loose cannon was allowed back unto the field is beyond me.
I totally agree with the CBS crew that the last couple of minutes was a travesty.
Oilers vs Bills ‘92 playoffs is the biggest choke in history.
A: Because Cincinnati would demand one too.
The fumble was the end. Ridiculous to not just go to the ground. The game was all but over.
The crap at the end is so overblown. Guy went in with his shoulder. Shouldn’t have finished the play, but that play is pretty run of the mill. Guy’s head came down from the first hit. He should have avoided but it was the deciding moments of the game and high intensity to break up the play.
The guy had made several of the huge, deciding plays earlier to set up the likely win. Earlier in the game the steelers guy hit helmet to helmet and was rewarded with a turnover. No outrage there, of course.
Superbowl 1 was between the Packers and the Chiefs. Maybe it’ll happen again for 50.
Watched it all the way. Whatta game! Reminded me of the Stiller’s/Raiders game with the Bradshaw and Stabler shootout.
I’m a Giants fan and have seen too many to count...The Fumble against the Eagles, choking away a 38-14 lead to 49ers in the ‘02 playoffs, blowing a 31-10 4th quarter lead and the division title to the Eagles in 2010, aka the DeSean Jackson game. There’s plenty more, but the Bengals were right up there...
Hmmm ha! It seems that in the afterlife here me n Saint Peter were at dem pearly gates n I said “Hey Pete the Stihlers gaht this game n hand!”
So Pete looks me n da eye and says “Myron, the big guy doesn’t do miracles on Saturday nights. Also, despite all those prayers players and fans send up he ignores them all. Football is trivial in life.”
“Mmmkay but I’m tellin’ yinz guys that the Stihlers got this game in hand! It’s da Bungles!”
BING BAM BOOM! Stihlers win!
This is Myron Cope.... on sports.
