OTH I KNOW the other candidates will never deliver on the major issues of our time.
So it is between maybe and no chance.
Most will pick maybe.
You are NEVER disappointing, central_va. At least to me.
(I know. Autocorrect strikes again)
I am prepared to be upset over his Scotus picks. His sister is a flaming lib.
Exactly.
Here's my view:
1. We Trumpsters don't WANT to go to any of the wannabbees. Mygosh, everyone of them is letting Trump frame the debate.
2. Go where?
Wish Trump would not be so thin-skinned on some lesser lightweight attacks against him and also lay off on attacking Ted Cruz. I still will vote for Trump in the primary but I’m a toothskin away from flipping it to Cruz instead if the attacks don’t stop. Cruz has been pretty classy with Trump overall but not the other way around and I don’t like that very much.
That's certainly where I'm coming from. At this point I would vote for Cruz in the primary. And several months ago I firmly believed that if the general election were between Trump and Hillary, that I would vote for neither. Trump has many signs of megalomaniacal narcissism. And we definitely don't want another eight years of that. But Hillary doesn't just show signs of megalomaniacal narcissism, she oozes it. And we've seen it in practice and its very, very evil. But then I realized that voting for Trump over Hillary wouldn't be voting for the lesser of two evils. It would be voting for the less certain of two evils, and that's a very different thing. I know with mathematical certainty that Hillary will do whatever evil she can dream up. But I don't see that in Trump, even if he really is a narcissist. He may do some bad things, but there's at least the possibility, if not the outright probability, that he will try to do the right thing, even if it's only because he perceives it's in his own best interest. That possibility does not exist with Hillary.
