Chiefs vs Redskins for a “politically incorrect” Super Bowl that would make “Cyclops Harry Reid’s” eye cross.

I’ll put $100 on the Packers.

I admit to wanting to support the Redskins just to poke a finger in the eye of politically correct people everywhere!

I heard the banged-up NE Pats will be getting back most of their banged up players in time for their 1st playoff game.

If so, it can make a BIG difference.

That’s why they’re ranked so high in this article.

Well, according to your post, having a tough schedule may knock you out of contention.

Pick your poison.

Panthers beat the Colts, Seahawks, Packers, Redskins, Saints, Giants and Texans.

They are untested against the Cardinals and Patriots.

I think your schedule factor is preseason.

You know this will create an interesting conundrum to the pc crowd should the Redskins in fact make it to the Super Bowl. Will the stadium refuse to allow them to play? Will the fans all stay home in protest? Will the NFL gallantly turn their backs on millions of profit from TV and commercials?

To all of the above . . . I say no!

But will bama invite them to the White hut?

I’m hoping that the football gods use the Redskins to pock a stick in their eyes . . . just like we see ice storms every time they proclaim a globull warming summit.

I think its funnt how the NFL is not using roman numerals for Super Bowl 50.

And they have talked all year that its the golden season, hinting at the golden anniversary of the Super Bowl. Which some casual fans may think is the golden anniversary of the NFL. But the NFL actually started in 1920. Its funny how the NFL scarcely acknowledges its history before the Super Bowl era and merger with the AFL.

Imagine if baseball ignored the great history of Babe Ruth, Walter Johnson, Cy Young, Christy Mathewson, Ty Cobb, et al.

But the NFL does ignore the likes of Sammy Baugh and Dick Night Train Lane.

The Pats problem is primarily their offensive line, where the only real hope they have is to get Vollmer back, and he is pretty good, but that is it (Except for a guy named Waddle they picked up only nine days before, a castoff from Detroit, they had to throw him in the game when Vollmer got injured, then he himself got injured, so they had a third/fourth string guy playing left tackle, two rookies and a second year guy on the line.)

Brady was able to function when he could pick a matchup with two receivers who had the capability to get open REALLY fast (Edelman and Amendola) and even after people started going down, I think he had one game where he averaged something like 2.1 seconds to get the ball in the air. Crazy.

But when he lost those guys, he has been taking a pounding. Not quite THIS bad...(Porn for people who want to see Brady have his head taken off!)...but constant enough.

Like most fans of most teams, I am always optimistic, but it won't be easy for the Pats, that is for sure.

Colts, Giants, Saints sucked.

Texans & Redskins lucky to have made playoffs.

Packers lost 4 of last 6.They are going nowhere

Panthers beat Seahawks early in the season when Seattle was struggling. Not the same team now.

AZ has easiest road in the NFC playoffs. They most likely will host the NFC championship game.

LOL, I have to agree! I guess I will have to root for the Skins after the Pats for that reason alone!

Heh, I can just imagine...at the White Hut, they would have to blank out the Redskins logo...not say their name...it would be brilliant theater!

We shall see. They may need to walk through Charlotte to get that.

I will concede that meeting Seattle early does not help Carolina at all.

Good Luck with the Cardinals. I was a season ticket holder back in Sun Devil Stadium days.

If Panthers are better than I think they are then yes, maybe.

Seattle gets to face Vikings in MN. Ha ha haaaaa...kickoff temp predicted to be ZERO! And then it will go lower from there.

Seattle has never played in that kind of weather. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving team!

Well, Vikings play inside so thats irrelevant.

Carolina has home field to the Super Bowl as long as they win!

I hope they can do it.

I think there’s a pretty high chance of the Pats getting bounced the first game - mostly due to being out of sync, though KC matches up the best against them. If they make it through that, high chance to make the Super Bowl. The AFC has a lot of very flawed teams this year.

Arizona and Seattle are the hot and solid teams in the NFC. Carolina’s got a chance, though as has been pointed out, they’ve not really been hardened yet.
