Bill Cosby was charged Wednesday with felony assault over an alleged encounter with a woman 12 years ago.
"We are here to announce today charges that have just been filed against William Henry Cosby. These charges stem from a sexual assault that took place on an evening in early 2004," Montgomery County district attorney Kevin Steel said in a press conference. "Mr. Cosby is charged with aggravated indecent assault. This is a felony charge."
Cosby is expected to be arraigned on the charge this afternoon in Elkins Park, Pa.

Pennsylvania has a 5-year statute of limitations for assault...
Charges had to be filed by New Years Day.
His act was always clean and respectable and offered a solid family example to African Americans.

“Bill Cosby Himself” was my favorite. I agree, the comedy was always clean and appropriate for listeners of all ages (except perhaps the “kill the boy” routine! ;-) )
Seems like that's been alleged several times by other accusers.. they initially rejected his advances, only to return later and take pills and/or drink booze in his presence. I can see his defense attorney jumping hard on that one.
Looks like he cooked his own goose.
Why aren’t they using the word “alleged” in this story?

he may be bad but the number of assaults carried out by Cosby apparently dwarfs the ones we know about with Clinton. There was a new one every day for months.

I think a lot of people got convinced by the number of accusers, but if you read some of their stories, I don’t think all of them are exactly credible.

The issue isnt whether or not they had sex. He says it was consensual, she says not. The burden of proof is on her.
“Taken in context with the latest revelations, this earlier evidence may become presented as a pattern of behavior that includes Bill Cosby’s own admissions on the tape recorded and notarized interviews by law enforcement.”
I’m not a lawyer (thank God) but I doubt any of the accusations by other women will be admissible in this case. His lawyers will try to seat a jury that has never even heard of Cosby, let alone his accusers. I’d like to see justice served but it will be tough.
Ain’t followed the story too carefully, but at least a few I heard are definitely not the smartest women around.
Hopefully every woman raped, threatened and assaulted by the Clintons will step forward to do a Bill Cosby on the Clintoons.

An arrest warrant has been issued for entertainer Bill Cosby for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple employee Andrea Constand at his Elkins Park, Pennsylvania mansion in January 2004, sources tell PEOPLE.
Oops. There goes his putative civil lawsuit against his rape victims.
The fact that some of the victims admit taking the pills and/or booze is a good sign of their honesty. They could always exaggerate and say, “He dragged me by my hair, he forced me,” etc., and it would be their word against his. The fact that these women admit things that make themselves look bad causes me to believe them more. And of course, just because they were stupid and took the booze and drugs from Cosby doesn’t mean they deserved to be raped.
As far as a court of law, though, I would imagine that would indeed be jumped on by Cosby’s team! This should prove interesting.
She and her co conspirators in the Media will try it.
I have no idea whether or not he’s guilty, but I can’t help but notice that none of this was news till he dated question the liberal narrative.
If he’s guilty, obviously he should be convicted. That had nothing to do with what I was saying.
