That’s one mighty strong cold front.
No wonder y’all are having severe weather.

View from Rockwall harbor on Lake Ray Hubbard. Looking toward Dallas over the lake. I-30 is line of cars to the left. Tornado went right over I-30 from Garland into Rowlett.

Allen should be OK. It was at risk from the same cell that we were watching. Some really heavy rain and a lot of lightning was the worst of it (and the usual straight line winds.) Lights are flickering a little bit.

Thank you. We’ve got all the battery operated gear up and running. Looks like the worst of it has now passed us. Good thing we had dinner before the power went down!
All our neighbors are good. Waiting now for an update from my daughter’s friend.
Thank you!

I have a brother-in-law in Estelline. Blizzard Warning in effect for them. They say a possibility of 14 inches of snow tonight through tomorrow.
He has a restaurant there. He thinks he’s going to be closed tomorrow.

The local weather boffins are tellings the blowing snow will begin at about midnight, and the blowing snow may result in drifts of five to ten feet outside the city.

Lots of wind and rain north of Fort Worth this evening. All stopped now. Saw lots of lightning east of here when the tornadoes were moving around the Dallas area. We needed the rain, and got just about what we were needing.

Looks like a smaller tornado forming to the right of the large one.
