The title is basic click bait FUD, as the rest of the article does not support the title, going on instead to tell why it's not true, listing TEN reasons why Apple will be successful in the coming year.

Of course its click-bait.
They dare publish something that wasn’t praising Apple to the heavens, so its pure FUD.

The FUD brigade has a franchise on this sort of nonsense and they peddle the same story every year. It's the time of the year where every armchair prognosticator gets to play swami to pad column-inches in an otherwise slow news season.
Things we can have confidence of seeing from Apple in 2016 include: Apple Watch 2, iOS 10, OS X 10.12, iPhone 7, and probably some refreshes across the board in the Mac line. Apple Pay should really start taking off internationally and some compelling apps should start to show up on Apple TV. Hardly the stuff of a "down" year.

Phones are a dead end. IOS is too light to go much further. Apple has no future. 220 billion tells the tale. Automobile? Hire Tesla employees who made that piece of crap. Battery cars loose over half their value in 3 years.

Despite a ClickBait FUD Title, the article is actually pretty good, listing TEN reasons why Apple will be successful in the coming year. The Title and the Lede are irrelevant to the story itself and were there to cause people to click on the article. Negativity sells. -- PING!

Why do they need sales ? They just extorted 500m out of Samsung. When that money begins to run out, they can make another against Samsung.

Just got an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil and I am in love. I barely use my laptop anymore. Incredible device and innovation, and SPEED.

They might sell a few billion of those gold-plated watch gizmo thingies, who knows.

On Monday, I'm going to buy a 128GB iPod Touch at the Apple Store in Grand Central Station. I've finally decided to retire my iPod Classic - or rather move it my suitcase where I will take it on trips (and not worry too much about losing it). Reason being is that I need the iPod Touch to use my Apple Music.
This will be my fifth Apple device in the past four years.

Who knows, I just enjoy tweaking Swordmaker because he’s such an applefan.
