The difference is Trump will make nice and then put the screws to them in international affairs to benefit America. The political class will talk tough and then let Putin spread the empire and dominate international events while we recoil into a beta position.

Yeah lets instead get all gooey over GOP candidates who want to side with ISIS against Russia because they still have not grown up.

Note to GOPE “Internationalist:” Reagan won the Cold War.

There are not 10s of thousands of Russian made armored vehicles manned by millions of slave Easter European and Ukrainian conscripts sitting on the Elba River in Germany

You can finally grow up and start dealing with the world as it is, instead of mindlessly clinging to what was.

“But it’s a difficult job, especially when a cold-blooded killer endorses your candidate.

Or, if a foreign leader wants to cripple the chances of a candidate that he thinks would be the most effect by praising him. This writer is dumb enough to take political gamesmanship literally.

Meh. Cliff Kincaid is also totally cool with the NSA listening to every American conversation, because terrorism or something.

I don’t put a whole lot of stock into anything he writes.

That "powerful man" in Russia is a former KGB spy whose regime is murdering innocent people in Ukraine and Syria.

Bull Shite. What Putin is doing is eradicating those who are murdering innocent people, in sharp contrast to the Narcissist-in-Chief who is too busy drooling over his reflection to pay any attention to the genocide being conducted by his ISIS bretheren.

Let’s talk about Obama’s love for Castro who cares nothing for his people.

We don’t know, that in economic desperation, what a new Russian leader may do in relationship to ISIS and Islam. What we do know is that our current president is in love with them (ISIS & Islam) and hates Israel. That has to change or we are toast.

"This wasn't an endorsement," she said. "This was simply just a powerful man recognizing someone in the United States running for president who is also a powerful man. It was not an endorsement."

"Powerful man..."

Red alert! We have been duly warned about powerful men.

For as long as the obola regime is in power, Putin can do/say anything to confuse people for his own gain, because obola’s ‘red line’ is not to be taken seriously.
When Trump is in power, Putin can only act up when Trump/USA lets him (such as when they really fight ISIS, when what they do is to USA’s interests.) When his actions threaten our national security in any way, HE WILL BE STOPPED!
Trump has already presented such an image - when Trump acts to reinforce such an image, Putin and the world WILL take notice.

Does Trump not understand how the Kremlin manipulates the media and eliminates opposition political figures and independent journalists?

I'm sure he does.

He also understands how American Democrats manipulate the media and eliminate opposition political figures and independent journalists.

This regurgitation of neocon talking points is risible from someone who supposedly works at Accuracy in Media....the cheese has definitely slipped off Kinkaid’s Graham cracker.

Anyone who’s not a fool knows that Putin would rather deal with Obama, or someone like Obama, than Trump.

I just notice all the Repubs jumping over themselves to pick a fight with Russia, competing to see who can say “thug” with the most emphasis, but only two of them wanting to keep the baddies out of the US.

All of them want to take down Assad but none of them can explain how that helps if the replacement is Al Qaeda, ISIS, or Muslim Brotherhood.

Trump and Cruz are the only two people I take seriously.

Obama is the occupant who is trying to put Russia in the driver’s seat.

Obama asked Russia to be patient with him—he needed time to be flexible.

Obama mocked Romney’s notion that Russia is a threat.

Obama surrenders to Iran, a Russian ally.

Obama gives up on Ukraine, now under Russian influence.

Obama turned tail on his own “red line” in Syria, Russia’s underling.

Obama walked away from the Baltic states and Poland, under threat from Russia.

The writer can blame Obama for Russia’s resurgence, not Trump.

I consider the ability to work well with Russia a huge plus for leadership here. Only an idiot would see it any other way.
As I recall George W Bush had Putin as a guest at his ranch in Texas and they had a smashing time.

This is just a hit piece on Trump. A stupid one.
