Donald Trump early Tuesday dismissed comparisons to Adolph Hitler after the GOP presidential front-runner said he would âclose the doorâ to Muslims.
Trump said during an interview on CNN's "New Day" that the Philadelphia Daily News, which linked the real estate mogul to the Nazi leader, is "another newspaper going out of business."
The newspaper's cover shows a photo of Trump with his right hand raised outward over text reading, "The New Furor" and text mentioning his plan, announced late Monday, to bar Muslims from entering the U.S.
Asked by host George Stephanopoulos during another interview Tuesday morning on ABC's "Good Morning America" whether the increasing comparisons to Hitler bother him, Trump responded, "No."
The media is digging their own grave deeper and deeper.
I know that Trump will weather the storm. Let's see if his followers do as well.
As Margaret Thatcher would say, let's not go wobbly.
Ten years ago....the ‘device’ would have worked. Today? People are so used to it....they just laugh now. The news media has lost all of it’s self-respect.
One need only review the rise of Hitler on the History Channel to see the parallels to the rise of Hussein 0bama.
He is going to get slammed everywhere for that comment. We will see how people feel after the Jihadists kill again. Clearly, there was going to be more events in California. Those two Jihadists were not working alone. It’s a minor setback since their guns were confiscated.
They will kill again.
People are frightened. That jewelry store robbery in California had people freaking out that they were all going to die due to a Muslim attack.
I didn’t know even Cosmetic stores in California have bullet proof safe rooms
I saw an article on humor site Cracked.com making the same comparison of Trump’s rise to Hitler, as well as a prior one on this “humor” site comparing the rise of nationalism to rise of fascism.
And since these articles are coming out the same time a lot of other liberal pundits are making the comparison, it shows an across the board push to make the comparison.
AKA, when a humor site publishes the same stuff as liberal pundits, making the same charges, you know it is a concerted effort to smear Trump.
The Daily News and the NY Times are basically Left Wing propaganda manuscripts published daily.
What did people expect? For Trump to agree with the comparison with Hitler?
Try Roosevelt be for go too as Hitler.
That deserves a suit for libel. I presume Trump’s lawyers have already sent the retraction demands.
This is what a “civil war” entails ... this fight for the soul of America in which we are most definitely engaged.
It’s not even a good analogy to compare Trump to Hitler.
Hitler worked WITH the Muslims.
The last refuge of the pathetic. Trump is no Hitler and muzzies are no Jews.
I think the more hair-raising idea is to allow in all Muslims, as this paper seems to want to do.
There was a time, not long ago, that we had essentially a Hitler a week. The media and politicians were always referring to this one or that one as Hitler. I guess they thought it was time to revive that idiotic scam.
Happened to watch the movie “GLADIATOR” recently. In Rome, before the gladiators began to fight, they turned, faced Caesar, raised their RIGHT arms straight out toward the emporor and intoned, “Caesar, we who are about to die salute you!”
Who knew that ancient Roman gladiators were Nazis?
As a elementary student at the BEGINNING of WWII, we pledged “allegience to the flag of the united States” by raising our RIGHT ARMS/HANDS to the flag. During the war, the motion of pledging to our flag was changed from the “NAZI” salute to the hand over the heart.
If, today, a student raises his RIGHT hand, does it mean he is saluting HITLER, or does it mean he/she knows the answer?
