The "white" ingredients make me wonder if the cookies
had this secret ingredient......borrowed from a famous bakery recipe:
Sweeten a bar of cr/cheese. Roll into little nuggets. Add to chocolate chip cookie dough.

That sounds good itself, but SilentGypsy was correct - they were macadamia/white chocolate chip. They’re pretty common on the catering circuit, but I’d never found a recipe for them before.

Brown sugar makes everything chewier and more delish!
Liftout clusters w/ soup spoon. Set on rack to completely dry.
Serve in fluted paper cups.
