The suspect accused of killing three people in an attack on a Planned Parenthood in Colorado was once a happy father and art dealer who painted and listened to rock music, a report has revealed. Robert Dear, 57, who allegedly burst into the clinic in Colorado Springs on Friday and opened fire, was a recluse who moved to a remote cabin in the state a year ago, his neighbors have told Daily Mail Online. But a new report by the New York Times has revealed that Dear was once a happily married family man who lived with his wife and son in South Carolina. Since his 2000 divorce, Dear seems to have declined into a loner who lives in a remote cabin, seeking bondage and sadomasochistic sex online and smoking marijuana.

That just plays into the 'domestic terrorist, no one is safe, not even while they murder their baby' meme.
The left has long embraced their extremists for that purpose. It also telegraphs where they really want to go.
Unfortunately, those allegedly on the Right have a clear track record of disowning those who stand farther Right, leaving the middle of the road crew to be called "extremists" by the Left, and thus weakening any negotiating position they have.
Another ignorant post. There is no evidence of people getting fired up with pot. Instead, they get smoked out.
Sorry, the devil made him do it!
Go back and read the newspapers about many of the major criminal acts/killings of the past 6 months (and for Michael Brown, a year or more), and you will find that Marijuana was found in the blood of many of the shooters/killers, as was PCP, Meth, TCH, etc.
It is an unnoticed issue that drug use could have, and probably did, play a significant role in some of the most terrible violent crimes of the past year or so.
Alcohol, I suspect, was a factor in some of them, esp. when mixed with other drugs. A couple terrorists were found to have drugs in their system. I think the guy who killed three roommates in New Jersey was one of these types.
Never let a crisis go to waste. I hate people who do this kind of thing.
Oh boy the major wing of the pro-pot Freepers are going to get you now!.....But I’ll have your back!
That would certainly fulfill the masochistic part.
sadomasochistic sex?
He wanted to have sex with Hillary?
Depending on the source of the pot, smokers of pot will have blood on their hands as money spent on the pot often goes to murderous drug cartels!
i get them confused sometimes.
the masochist likes suffering.
and the sadist likes inflicting suffering I think.
that would be hillary lol
Log Cabin Republican, no doubt.
Don't blink. Because if you do, that information will be blocked before you get to see it. There's a narrative going on that has nothing to do with solving the problem. The problem is that a large percentage of the US population has become deranged because of mind-altering poisons, legal and illegal.
Correlation means nothing!
Log Cabin lol
i wonder where the heck they got that title.
I watched the Rodney King video in its original uncut version, at the time they said he was smoking pot laced with PCP in it. CNN was the only 24 hour news station and I saw it before it was edited to show police brutally beating his legs. What came before was the assault on police officers, he was knocking them down like bowling pins. I think they only ran it a couple of times before the cuts. My dad saw it the next day after the cuts and told me they shouldn’t have beat the man that way, I explained that he was only seeing the short version and that I didn’t blame the police a bit. So 3. something million later CNN had done its job. The media has its job to do and they do it with the worse intentions in mind.
Funny thing was that the guy with him kept his hands on his head and watched and no one laid a hand on him.
Your premise fails. If any were using marijuana, it was most likely an attempt to calm the rage within... Self-medication takes many forms, and if the Dr won't give you Prozac, you find something that works...
Demonizing can be fun for some people think the boogieman is behind every bush...
Have a nice life!!!
“Why are we getting more information from a British newspaper than the rags in this country?”
Most of the US mainstream press (newspapers, radio, television) is owned and distributed by large media companies regulated in some way by the federal government or owned by wealthy liberals. The media companies are reliant on the federal government for broadcast station licenses.
The days of the independent newspaper, radio station, or television station where a news editor is free to report subjects of interest to the local community and provide balanced editorial are long gone in the USA.
“””Consider: Liberal snowflakes thing everything is solvable through rainbows and unicorns. Their world is filled with nothing but violence and chaos as a result.”””
Huh? They CRAVE totalitarianism especially if it includes some form of violence against those who disagree with them.
The leadership is totalitarian and knows how to do it the real way.
The snowflakes, the tree cryers and fish funeral in supermarket holders are totalitarian yes, but they don’t see it that way at all. They see unicorns and rainbows. They crave totalitarianism yes. But like most liberals they don’t understand WTF they are talking about and thus chaos and violence ensue trying to make the reality fit their beliefs.
“Robert Dear’s voter registration lists him as unaffiliated, heavy pot smoker who sought bondage and sadomasochistic sex online”
How many other weird people have been attracted to move to Colorado since marijuana became legal?
There are unintended consequences when voters approve legal marijuana.
When my husband said the shooter was originally from NC, I told him he probably moved to CO because marijuana was legal.
