Houston went over to the dark side went it elected an open homosexual mayor. Sadly as more and more liberals flock to Texas from failed liberal states Texas will soon become purple.

Oil boomed for too long, Eastern Lieberals moved in and look what we got! A NDP (socialist) government after 44 years of (pseudo) conservative government which arrived after 36 years of government led by Pastors (Manning and Aberhart).
After 80 years of centre and centre-right leadership, we now get socialism. A foretaste of where Texas may be heading.
