Terrified neighbours phoned the police after hearing a woman screaming hysterically and a man yelling: âIâm going to kill youâ.
But when officers arrived at the address they discovered the flat's sole occupant had been trying to catch a SPIDER .
The shamefaced man admitted he had been shouting death threats at the arachnid and had been the person behind the high pitched screaming.
According to New South Wales police in Australia, they received multiple calls about the sound of crashing furniture and a man screaming: âIâm going to kill you, you're dead! Die Die!!â.

Yup.
Like that.
At least it doesn’t have the squishy noises to go with the pic.

Well, if I see it again, it now has a name.
Kinda scrawny and pale like Gollum, anyway.

UGH camel spiders.
That’s two fighting males.
Note the hammer shaped structures on the legs of the lower one.
Ugly things.

I saw a real article from awhile back - again from England. The headline was “A series of unfortunate events” (my kids were reading the book of the same title at the time). The gal in the article tried to burn down a spider’s nest using the hairspray trick. I’m guessing it worked, as it burned down the detached garage, caught the hedge-row on fire, which burned up to the house - causing the entire house to go up in flames as well. (Hence the title!)

I read somewhere where taking an indoor spider and putting it outside is as good as killing it - they won’t survive. (Unless of course they just find there way back in again!)
Most spiders I let stay in the house. Except the big hairy common house spiders we have here in Seattle, which look pretty close to the Hobo spider that can give a good bite.
Otherwise they are helpful to catch the stray fly that makes it into the house. (I really can’t stand flies! Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz.....)

Depends on the spider as well.
Grass spiders don’t do well indoors, yet they wander inside in search of something to catch.
Or mates if it is a wandering male.
:-(
I catch them and let them go outside where the good stuff is.
